This shows better. I just use a small piece cut in a triangle to hold the stem. No broken roots freeing them this way.

Ya that's what I was talking about lol. I haven't really had any prob with the roots coming ripping or anything usually get them out before there too massive. I can also fit a lot more sites with less space. But when I got a larger area I will still be using the bubble cloner method most likely and will prob try this instead of plastic tubing.

Nice Pic. That's not yours is it? You go right in soil right?

This was mine I built. I've just started going straight to soil for my clones. Works as fast, & just easier.

Nice vid...Like your technique seems pretty full proof!

Yeah thats what i usually do.Fill a 16 oz cup with soil and put the cuttings right in then put them in a dome.Usually get roots within 7-10 days..
I'll prob venture to the soil soon enough but right now prob just stick with what I'm good with. When I do start cloning with soil I'll prob look back like "why the hell use a bubble cloner"?

So I planted two seeds directly into to soil 3 days ago and we got sprouts. I haven't germinated in over a year and have been having great success with planting the seeds directly in the soil and covering the 16oz cup with saran wrap.

Here's Sandy or Andy the first of two (that were planted at the same time) to pop it's Head.

Then we have Christmas or Chris..

Ya sometimes I do this water technique...less work than the paper towel method for sure. But I think I've had like one seed not pop with just putting them in soil out of a few dozen. Deff a great way to do it.

I use Root Tone powder or Flair Form gel. Seeds look good. Nice to meet them.

Thanks D! The seeds were small so the seedlings are as well. I'm sure I can get them to plump up a bit.

There nice to meet you at well:mrgreen:

Well i just placed a seed i soaked in water right in soil eventho it was not showing a taproot. Here is hoping it sprouts and grows just fine..

more new little ones, thats gonna keep you busy for a while, looking good man!!
Ya can't wait till they get some nice size fans on them and become actual plants.

As long as you didn't pack the soil over the seed ya should be fine. Did ya put some saran wrap over the top of the container? What strain?

Soo..

I got a bit impatient and since I didnt want the roots getting to massive before I put them in the 16oz'ers for the rest of there lives I planted them early...a bit too early.

When I got home from work one was pretty droopy. I drenched her in water and we'll see what happens.

yeah if u were confident enough to put in dirt then they will prolly be ok. once i have like 24 clones of shishkaberry (when i was using a humididome)i forgot to put the dome back on top of the tray. when i went back in the closet if i almost cried it was so bad. these were not rooted yet or anything. the only thing was the foilage was not crisp so i sprayed em down good and put the dome back on. cames back like 2 hrs later and wasnt able to recognize that it even happened. maybe it was a bad dream. dont worry dude mary is strong
