Nodes?

I read that you can switch to 12/12 either when the plant is 9 - 12" tall. Or when when you have about 9 nodes. What are nodes? Are they the new growth you see between the stim and branches ? Does anyone have any pics?

a "branch" is considered a "node". if they stagger you can count them individually. if they grow in pairs opposite of each other you can count them in sets.

Nodes are the places on a stem where the leaves or branches are attached.

You could start to flower when the plants has about 4 - 8 nodes, no problem. Oh, What type of lighting?
