No surprise, DUIs are still dropping since MMJ, but...

i think its mostly cuz the cop arent educated about the law enough and usually go on whatever u tell them in those instances you can easily get out of it by saying i medicated 6+ hours ago because they have no way of testing cannabis to that degree unless u are retarded stoned

So how many were pulled over under suspicion and then released because of the lack of available testing?

Policy makers should look at the science. Either patients are smarter than the alcoholics and don't drive while medicated... Which I doubt... Or an impaired mellow driver is safer on the road. The trend numbers for this are consistent nationwide.

I would never admit to medicating within the last 48 hours - and you probably should not answer any questions related to this as ANYTHING you say can be used against you - nothing can really help your cause.

I don't even carry my card, that implies you are driving under the influence cuz it can stay in your system so long.

No, don't say anything. I saw on the news that someone got popped for smoking it 2 weeks prior, cuz the test showed it in their system.

'Never admit anything ever.'

It's our constitutional right (5th) to not self incriminate. We have the right to remain silent.

I have never been arrested nor suspected of nor tested for DUI. That stated... The stupidest decisions I have ever made were after that first beer--and that includes, but by no means limited to, drinking and driving.

Cannabis may make you dopey, and but alcohol sure makes you stupid.

As 400 plus DUI arrests this last weekend attest to.

Never admit anything ever
my first interaction with a dope lawyer; he said always be polite to the cops. give them your name, address and other identifying info they ask for, but never say anything more than that. everything after name, address etc is -
i want to speak to a lawyer.

politely.

One should always be polite anyway.

In AZ, the officers are TRIGGER HAPPY.

To be fair, the only time I have had a gun pointed at me was by LAPD.
