Does anyone out there ever use the product called 'No Pest Strips'. I'm considering using it a few weeks before flowering. Another product I'm considering is the perythrin bomb. Mites and thrips get pretty bad a few weeks into flowering in my situation. Thanks

I'm going to start treatment next week using these. Be careful, read the directions carefully. From what I understand this is one of the best ways to get rid of bugs.

Good luck :leaf:

I have used the nopest for years and now they are Ortho. Work great, no bad side effects, my hair is falling out and my nails bleed, gum's too. But other than O ya the rash, but it's worth it.... Just fucking with you, if you don't live with them don't worry, if you do try to minamise your exposure to them. My parents used them all my life at the cottage and I did also.

I also have used Doctor Doom bombs with good success in the past.

i use fly strips for thrips..they love'um...then i bomb the room with hot-shot foggers..but i do this 1-2 times a winter..when it starts to get cold outside and once b4 it gets warm...during the summer once every month and a half...i remove the plants b4 i do this .."nothing but the plants are living in my grow room"............the hot-shots are very flammable so kill fans/lights and any thing else that could make a spark b4 you bomb it.......

I recently got thrips in my veg room and thought I'd killed them with neem spraying. Well apparently I didn't and when I figured this out they were in the veg and flower rooms. So I got some ladybugs and they didn't work because they don't eat thrips but they're cheap and easily obtained. I screwed around with neem spraying in the veg room but that would not work very well in the flower room so I got a couple of theese strips. They work awesome! Next day all ladybugs and thrips were dead. A few days later and no sign of life except sweet green recovering plants. So I'm not sure about the vapors but who cares? No more bugs! Woohoo!

Yeah, I don't think they'll get the mite eggs. I'd keep it in there for a couple of weeks to be sure you get any hatchlings. They do work well - I've used them to kill off mites successfully. I'd recommend trying to keep ventilation minimal for a while so the bugs don't get much of a break from it. Also, if you're worried about fumes escaping, go to the hardware store and spend a few bucks on some weather stripping - get your room sealed up nice and tight.

Hotshot strips own.
They kill mites fast.....

They are best in a sealed rm with little ventilation.
