The Local Housing Association had sent a guy round to "Survey my flat for repairs needing done that i was trying like fuck to get them out to fix for two years! Good job i never answered my door eh! Now i have got to phone and Arrange another 'suitable' day for him to come back, if i dont they can't put me on the list of houses to have repairs and basically ill never get it done! Im sure ill get round it Knowing exact this time when he will be coming, Its just when the work needs done! Think Im going to have to put them off till what i have flowering done and Take Mother 'n' kids to stay with their uncle for a wee while where i can get access daily! Who Knows???
I will Up-date the Chiesel Grow On Monday, That will be my weekley post!

Ok, now i think ive got it, i'll get on. Thats me at week 2 since i Decided to grow a couple of Fem Chiesel seeds i had in fridge, and decided to do a proper grow journel for once after a couple of lazy attempts to update regularly! So to pay back some of the "invaluble" knowlege ive got from other peoples journels and posts. So like i said, just seedling stage but everything going ok! 001.JPG002.JPG Thats them! lol, thankfully ive got other strains running at diff. stages! But I realy think this strain will be a good one for the keeping! So hopefully they both get to the end and reward me with some nice herb! I hope some of you stick around, any Q's and comments welcome.

Thanks ganja, ye, the Pineapple is really fresh and clean so the pineapple flav comes through real nice! The after effect can change from a nice high to couch lock depending on how long you cure it. Right now its been in jars for few day's, so its at that sticky point that i love!

So the Chiesel seedlings are doing ok, only the one that sprouted a few hours behind the first is looking a bit of a runt compared to the other! And im "still" waiting on my local Hydro shop getting "Gnat Off" in for me to execute these fly's that are doing my head in, but shop say's today so hopefully!

hey greenjambo

nice stuff, hope u dont mind me following ur grow for the odd tip here and there. i have been grown twice before without any problems... took on a little break for quite a while and recently started growing again with some AK-48 seeds i got from a friend but unfortunately once they sprouted through the soil they just stopped growing...so put that down to rustness and cockyness assuming this was a piece of cake....

anyway with a new found respect purchased some ice seeds from 420 seeds 2 weeks ago and they arrived this past monday...so put them in a glass with some natuaral ph 6.8 mineral water for 7 hours on tuesday utill all seeds sank to the bottom then later tuesday night put them in half inch of my soil mix which is 30% perlite 20% vermiculite 5% earth worm castings and 45% potting soil...

(my previous attempt with the failed ak's i had no perlite in my soil mix) big mistake i guess

so today 4 days later 1 has sprouted through the soil and i can see a hump in the soil in the other pots where i am pretty sure the rest will sprout during the night...

anyway where i am going in all this is to just ask what your watering schedule is like with the chisel seedlings?? as i am pretty sure i over watered my last failed ak 48 attempt

how much and how often do you water those babies of yours?

i got small pots about 10 inched around and maybe 4 or 5 inchs high, i initially watered them down with about 140ml of water when i put the seeds in the soil, and they have dried up a bit but still seem a little moist so i dont plan on watering today...

for now using 4x 36 what cool daylight flourescents and the temps are between 24-26 degrees

good luck with the rest of your grow...

Only water them when needed, ie feel weight of pot that will tell you if you need to water, and try keep the top soil dry especialy around the plant stem, if the stem is constantly wet during the seedling stage it will rot and plant will dye! Just remember less is sometimes more! Good Luck and All Q's welcome!

P.s i dont think not having perlite in your first attempt was what killed the plants! Like i said less watering at this stage is better than too much.

cheers man thanks, the pots seem dry on the surface but a mildly moist underneat after poking my lil finger in one of the drainage holes, so might put off watering till sunday morning i'll see...if the surface gets crusty tomorrow then might give them 50ml of water tomorrow evening

oh yeah i clearly remember spraying water rightn down the stem which was not too clever, thanks for that....when they get their first watering i'll water around the side of the pot but as of yet they have not been watered yet since sprouting today.....

oh they are under 24/7 lighting at the moment....

laterz, looking forward to your next pic update

So I've finally got round to updating my Chiesel Journal! That's me at around week 3, one has deff. got more vigour in it, but i'll still grow out the two. I nearly killed the best one lastnight! I've got them raised up on a large pot turned upside-down, to get better light or my othe plants would just shade them! Anyway, while moving another plant to throw out ( to make space!), i knocked over the Chiesel and god only knows how it never snapped!, but were ok im glad to say. 016.JPG You can see the closer one is the better one, but still damn seedling's! lol. I just got a few Dutch Passion Blueberry seeds today with post and this is one of my Fav's and been waiting nearly 2 years to find them in-stock from a trusted dealer, so Really happy today!
