No I-502 license for me this go round....

Well, I tried. I had a novel idea and I ran with it. Didn't work out as too many outside factors prevented me from publicizing what I was trying to do, or maybe it was just a dumb idea to begin with! I was most definitely high when I conceived of a reality style website for one of the first "legal" cannabis farms in America! But I did have an incredibly great time doing it, the booths I had at Seattle Hempfest alone made it worth it. I didn't sell a single thing that weekend, just gave away stash boxes with my logo, but I did meet some of the greatest people I've ever had the good fortune to meet there and during other parts of my quest.

So I didn't get a license this round, oh well. I re-upped my medical authorization a few weeks back and truly couldn't be happier. My home state is looking hard at decrim, and I'm pushing all my people back home to get on their phones and emails to get this done! If I ever return to my life working in nuclear power plants or national laboratories, I want it to be with the elimination of the pre-employment drug screen. In the meantime, I will continue to fight for legalization everywhere (everything!). I quit smoking weed years ago (actually seems like a lifetime ago!) so that I could conform and be "respectable". Despite being quite successful at what I do, without weed, alcohol took over my life. IT. WAS. HORRIBLE! I will never drink again, but I will smoke/vape/eat my mary jane everyday for the rest of my God given life!!

As a former subcontractor to Uncle Sam, I've have some pretty direct experience with him that leaves me unsettled. I hope that everyone reading this realizes just where we are in our history and what we are capable of doing if we join forces and do it now! We can take back our country and make our meds legal. But it starts with us. With you. Actually, it started with you. I found this site and fell in love with most of the people. Granted, there are trolls everywhere, but I envision a day when even trolls no longer lurk.

My quest to become a licensed commercial grower grew into so much more than I ever dreamed it would be. This past year since I began cultivating this holy plant, has truly changed me, and changed me for the better! This adventure isn't over, it has merely begun!20140211_152509.jpg20140211_152437.jpg20140211_152107.jpg20140208_182038.jpg20140207_185844.jpg20140207_185852.jpg20140211_152107.jpgThese are all daughters from previous grows. Popped a few seeds here and there, but nothing terrible. Germ'd 10 and got 10 fems. They're all about 3 weeks into flower at this point.

No, we didn't! And that's exactly why I intend to keep pushing! I'm willing to put my face and my name to defend my beliefs and fight for your rights and mine!

So- you actually applied for a license to produce pot and got turned down by the LCB? Did they turn you down after the phone interview or after you submitted your plans -- and if so, why?

That's a negative. Sorry for any confusion. My license application would have been based on the successful launch of the documentary style website I dreamed up while high. Due to my employment at a Department of Energy site, I was never able to do the kind of press I wanted. I had television and magazine interview offers, in addition to a celebrity endorsement. But I had to keep it low key. In the end, it morphed into a mission. I have some ideas, unique ones, that I'll be posting elsewhere on this site. I know exactly what we can do to get our elected officials attention and affect some real changes in our current drug policy... and we can do it much quicker than you might think!
