:shock:Well its been three weeks since the plant sprouted. It looks the same, like it hasn't grown at all. The second set of leaf isn't even growing. Plant is still green and strong though. The temp is pretty cold which i think can cause it. Its like 70 degrees or something. any help apprciated.

Start your seeds in seed starting inserts, grow plugs, oasis root cubes,etc...Transplant to party cups,4inch pots etc...Than transplant to the 2,3,or 5, gallon pot.

It's in a 5 inch tall cup. Those red and white ones. Theres 1 23w 6500k clf on it right now. Its like 2 inches away. I'm waiting to get some Y splitter before adding more lights.

My plants grew really slow for the first couple of weeks, they only had one set of leaves and all they did was stretch vertically. They're starting to shooot out a ton of new leaves now though, it just takes time for some strains/plants i guess. More light couldn't hurt.

You have about 1000 lumens there. That's just enough to keep it alive but not enough to grow with. Try 10 times that much.

Well from what i know (which isn't alot compared to others) is that when a plant is going through some slow growth it could be acouple things....Not enough light....Overwatering or underwatering....To small of a space to grow....Are you adding any nutes??? I would do what you said and get another light and put it on a Y splitter...I have 7 lights ranging from 23watts up to 42watts and there all on Y splitters....The more lights the better...Also what soil are you using?...Some pictures would help some of the plant and of your setup....Throw those up and people would be able to help you better...Trust me...

Try to put more soil in the cup light almost up to the cotyledons....Throw a fan in there on low...Just enough to move the plants around gently not enough to do any dammage to the roots....

Using MG organic soil. I wont be adding any nutes until I flower it. I have grown bagseed before with the same amount of light and they grew fine. I'm currently using all the experience I've gain from growing bagseed. I'll be adding another light soon. The second set of leaf are starting to pop out. But the first two are curling up. You guys kno what causes that? I'll give an update and pics soon.

I wouldn't say that a plant with only a 23 watt CFL for lighting was growing fine man. If you had two of those bulbs you would see an outrageous change in growth. They would grow a lot quicker and be a lot bushier. I'm guessing your plant is probably very stretched out? I'm not trying to be mean bud, I'm just trying to help out a fellow grower. If you have any questions you can send me a pm and I'll help you with whatever you need. Good luck

Sorry for the wait guys. One more bulb was added. But it still has the same growth. Don't worry, idc if your being mean or nice as long as ur helping out and not being an ass about it. lol. I do think that it's just a plant that grows slow, and the temp are cold around 70. I'll give up dates soon. I haven't gotten a chance for my digital camera.

3 gal pot + 1" tall plant = rootball whole inside of pot
