I wanted to share that I found a cool way to aerate my res it's called the jet aerator.
Using the venturi principle I have a hose connected to a 14w submersible pump,
It works quite well and I won't have to worry about clogging or annoying air pumps.
One downside I discovered is that its affected my head so needs to be tuned to the head height of the res also i'm not sure how much air is getting through the water or how much I need going through it either,
I estimated about 250L per hour but i'm not too sure.
I like this idea and think it has potential as it makes good current in the res unlike a worn out airstone.
I feel that the good current makes up for less airflow
also I especialy have a large 80l res so there would be a good amount of air in there for passive exchange.
Im also pondering to mabye have a sort of breeze being pulled through the res also using extraction fan system.
The res is completely sealed and connected to the hepa filtered room, using bennies now, ro water need i say anymore !
What do you think people ?
