Nizza's Nuggets 2022

Hey yall I've decided to put up a new journal to log grows for the year. Going into the winter season is when I like revving up on the indoors, hopefully I don't get any bug issues this year

So right now I have this 2x4 tent with 3 plants. Monkey juice in the middle with two greases pieces on either side. These strains are by 3thirteen, gg4 x mimosa and gg4 x peanut butter breath. I'll be ready to flip in a week or two I think. I added a rapid far led puck to the middle of the sp3000 for flower initiation
The 5x5 is a bit hectic. Strains are chaka khan and slymer sby Bob bitchen, ghost town and cake n chem by greenpoint, and black lime bukakke by black market breeders. The 6 small plants are some auto crosses I made over the summer, I'll be giving them to friends for them to test out.

Thanks buddy. I definitely have a few things I need to do, one of which is adjusting the lights, the other is the feed strength/ watering frequency. Once I dial these in and see some lush vigorous growth I will flip to flower. For now I have been seeing a bit of clawing on a few plants and some spotting which I hope will go away once I dial in.

This morning In the 5x5 i removed the small plants that will be given away, and I used those plastic knuckles to bend the foliage down and spread out the foot print a bit. It was aggressive training and I have topped most of them for hopefully 8 main colas. I cannot use a trellis in this tent because I have no access in the back. The 2x4 looks like it will get flipped first as far as progress goes. The light was up too bright but now with the light dimmed it is starting to show lush growth. I will add a 3rd layer of trellis when it is ready and then flip.

Some updates. 5x5 seems like it Is in great Shape. Minimal tip burn and very little cupping now. Running 1300PPM and not sure the DLI
In the 2x4 I am having some issues still... running 700 ppm to be careful and not sure of the DLI. I'll take those readings after I come home from work today. I took a close up of the way the leaves in the 2x4 look, I'm not too happy with them :[

I wanted to include a pic of this indoor veggie garden I started with my extra grow supplies. I keep forgetting all about it!! Using coco coir window planters with blumats

Pretty happy with the growth the past week in the 2x4. I like a bit healthier plants but I decided to flip both tents this weekend. I set up the 2x4 to just go to flower now and I'm in the process of doing a very deep clean and defoliation on my 5x5 tent. I snapped some pics as I'm still in the middle of everything. I even included some pics of the insides of these ac infinity inline fans, they were easy to take apart and put back together.

I was surprised how much gunk has accurate on my led boards. I used a soft bristle toothbrush and rubbing alcohol with clean dish cloths to re clean them, and am simple greening and steaming the entire room

I like the indoor garden. I view it as not only a great way to provide produce, but as a whole house humidifier and air purifier. Also the splash of vitamin D.

Yeah haha! I do hvac so I rigged up that 20 x 20 x 5 intake filter. It should help clean air in my house and put less tax on my stand alone air purifier and humidifier. Being able to get a generic replaceable filter is sweet too. This intake filter should also make cleaning easier

Plants themselves work as air purifiers.

Post clean up pics. I think I'm going to keep the two chaka khan up front so I can train them easier, they seem to have the tightest growth structure and are the tallest

@VIVOSUN Official I got the light yesterday and it is SWEET! I re arranged everything in my 5x5 tent and I feel like it's like Christmas vacation when he gets the house to light up!!

I just finished steam cleaning and defoliating just in time for this light to arrive. It will be great using the dimmer to increase intensity If needed. Later on I will update with how the lighting went.. I'm gonna close myself inside the tent and it will take a while to adjust everything.

I am really impressed by vivosuns light! Let's goooooo!

Things are putting along. 2x4 tent has something going on with watering.. or something. The timer was set correctly but I opened the tent and the plants were bone dry. They are bouncing back but overall I'm not overly happy with the way this run is going in my 2x4


The 5x5 however is going very nicely. My air pump that keeps the feed res aerated was only pumping out of one outlet so I replaced it today. I should be weeding out the males soon and the chaka khan got super cropped because it got too tall


The vipar spectra light I got is pretty Frickin nice. I love being able to use the dimmer knob. I am turning it from lowest to one step from the lowest setting today as well. Did a reservoir change and should be all set for this week!

Things are moving along great in the 5x5. The onset of budding is here and I let the ph run out of whack on accident so there are some odd issues with leaf color but everything is still doing great. I will do a leaf pull I both tents soon as a preventative to mold and open up the canopy more. I ran far red too early this round in my 2x4 so it stretched like crazy and none in my 5x5. Now the stretch is done so I will turn the EoD back on and see how it works out

I really need to clean the leaves up! I'll try to get it done this week, I'm giving up drinking for another month and I should be alot more productive after work

Got to stripping the slymer today. Decided to try out fresh squeezed juice from the leaves with my wife. We put them in the blender with ice and water and then strained it. Did a 50/50 leaf juice to mango juice with a bit of honey. I don't feel anything but I'm going to try this a few more times throughout the week with the fresh leaves and see how it makes me feel

The slymer looks much less packed with leaves now and it's been fun doing minimal training in this 5x5. I didn't see any signs of mildew so maybe a combo of air flow, silica, and uv light supplement is helping.
Going into the winter now so the humidity is dropping and I shouldn't run into any issues with mold!

A big shout out to @BobBitchen for making these s1's! I still have more but I like this strain so much im considering buying more lol. Also a shout out to subcool may he rest in peace

A pic of the tent with the slymer and cake n chem removed. A before and after of the cake n chem, decided to vacuum seal and freeze the leaves. I bought a juicer attachment for our kitchen aid mixer so me and my wife will be trying different things. Didn't get any psycho effect from the juice but I'm going to try and drink it daily and see what it does.

The cake n chem has a bit of a gassy , offensive smell. The structure of the plant is tight and tall. I removed alot of larf from these two plants today and am going to try and work on the other two tomorrow and do a clean up.

I think next run I'm going to mono crop and do twice as many or something. There is a lot of variation in the tent and I really haven't done any training. Time will tell with how the product comes out but all I've been doing is filling the feed reservoir and small maintenance . No IPM and no foliar spraying-- with an intake filter to prevent dust on the leaves ;should be a cleaner juice.
