Hey sqydro..

I have thought about hanging a MH bulb right in the middle, I have an extra 1000w MH just sitting around but it might rise my temps up so I just haven't done it, but I am sure it would help..

man im always sad to hear about a break in the action, but i know how it goes. never realized until i started gardening how much time it takes up. the real farmers must be hard pressed to shower and do laundry, lol. UC/DWC buys a little more time and less attentiveness i guess, but not much in the grand scope of things, and everyone needs a break once in awhile. enjoy the fruits of your labor while on vacay good sir, and hope to see ya round sooner rather than later!

Hey Nitro Wasn't it you that said put a ss screw in the airhose,turn it to adjust flow,throw the airstone away it causes problems?
I remember it from seems like a long time ago.GL&HY to ya!

No it wasn't me. I still use my air stones with out any problems, so I am not sure about the SS screw trick..

dude.. ok. you have mastered that strain completely, at this point its kind of like cheating. come on. what else you got laying around?

and hey man, ive got some questions for ya if ye dont mind..
how often are you flushing out your system? (if you are in DWC)
what is your ppm at the end of veg? and flower?
are you still using GH tri series?
your plants always look healthy, no signs of burn at all. im completely draining my system and refilling like once every 2-3 weeks.

Hey Hornet..

I have flushed once a week for an hour before and sometimes I just flush at the end of the grow for 3 or 4 days before harvest. Right now I have a dirt grow going so I might flush at the end with just water..

When I was in hydro my ppm during veg is 1000 to 1400 ppm unless they were baby's then I start out at 600 to 800 ppm. And at the end of flower my buckets would go from 1200 to 2000 for some reason when they are drinking a lot.

For this dirt grow I am using Flora nova series and the ppm goes in at 1000 to 1200 ppm.

When I was doing hydro I would change nutes every 7 days. And I would use the GH tri series..

nice man, thanks for the info. looks like this weekend il be cleaning out my reservoirs. girls are doing much better now, all of them are mounting comebacks. turns out I was underfeeding them by quite a bit. the last strain i had was a light feeder, these girls want their nutes! i always went by the rule ; "dont go over 250ppm for the first couple of weeks, then bump it up by 100ppm a week".
...still learning, lol

Hey Hornet..

When I say baby's, they are clones that are very well rooted and 8 to ten inches tall that come from my clones buckets..So they are all ready small plants when I put them in my hydro buckets..They are three to four weeks old from the time I take my cuttings. So I start them at 600 to 800 ppm..

Here is an update with some pic's. I only care to grow this one Indica strain so I hope people aren't getting bored with the same grow over and over again.

always frosty. is there a name for that indica? or a close relative perhaps?

Nitro I've been meaning to ask the same thing...what strain is that?

I am not sure what strain this is , some kind of purple Indica that has been around my area for years..I wish I knew what it was so I can go back to starting from seed. It has been cloned for eight years that I know of and keeps putting out some pretty tasty buds..

I have two or three more days before I chop down my last grow for awhile. It's time to take a break from growing..Here's some pic's

Hey Hornet..

The way I have been harvesting is I trim the buds while they are being cut from the plant, and I let them dry for a few days, then I put them in jars before they get to dry. And then I open the jars a time or two and check to make sure they won't mold. Some times I will dump the jar out and dry it a little more so it smokes good in a joint..It was alot easier to trim while the buds are fresh off of the plant. One time I dried the whole plant before I trimmed and it was a lot more work. So I dont do anything special, just jar it up when I think it is dry enough not to mold............nitro..

I don't top at all, I just pick a few leaves off here and there..

I finally found one of my old threads, and bumped it up here.

I will be growing again in july so I thought I would just use this thread when I get going again. nitro.

Hello GM,

I never got it going. I ended up back in Hawaii for awhile. But my stash is starting to dwindle so when I get back to Oregon I will git er going again. stay tuned.
