Nitrogen Deficiency or Paranoid Newbie?

Help! Wondering why the bottom leaf is so yellow. Feeding Veg Bloom, only fed/watered once since we got it, checked the TDS and EC and ordered nutrients and fed accordingly. Am I just being paranoid, does it look like nitrogen deficiency, something else, or perfectly normal? I'm a noob and have no idea. Its just this lady, the other strain I have isnt doing this at all

That looks more like a calmag issue or ph lockout not n def.

Your new growth is plenty green and lush... it is not a deficiency. That's the oldest leaf on the plant, and probably got depleted while trying to make new roots as a clone, expect it to die off, it's normal.

The plant does look a little wilty... I'd guess overwatering, or too a bit of leaf curl from TOO MUCH N. Take it easy on the watering, and nutes. Looks good :leaf:

To me it looks like too much nitrogen and a slight cal/mag issue judging by the newest growth. What sort of soil are they in?

Coco coire with perlite. They were bone dry so we watered the perimeter until a little started to weep. That was Wednesday, and haven't watered since. They've also been a bit cold so we just moved them upstairs now they're at 75 degrees before they were at about 68. But we also just took them over. I'll post a pic of a few days ago when we got it, there was some slight yellow but nothing like this. Seems like it's going downhill so I want to figure it out quickly.

This was on Tuesday when we first got them. We watered them once, perhaps a bit too much, and the spot they were was a little below temp so they haven't dried out much since then. Moved them today and they're right at 75 degrees.

What I do to calibrate is get Ph things that I know the value of either 2.0 - Lemon Juice or
2.2 - Vinegar then take a little screwdriver and adjust accordingly. When I got my last pen it read Lemon Juice as a Ph of 7 needless to say I was killing everything when I used it.

With coir it is common to have a Cal.Mag issue if you put a little epsom salt in your water it should take care of it.

Thank you!! We're not currently testing ph. I'll have to get a meter. We just did the water. What should I be testing, water pre and post nutes? The soil? I'm such a noob haha

I add the nutes to my water then test the water. I also test what drains out when I water them to see if my coir is good-usually it is pretty close to the water I am using. I used to not think Ph was all that important until I moved to my current house and couldn't even get seeds to sprout due to high Ph, since I started testing my plants have grwon real quick and a lot more healthy.

Disbeverk was correct the plant is fine and the bottom leaf is dying off because the plant used it to make roots. You need to get a PH meter in a hurry or you are going to start having problems. When feeding plants in coco your PH should be between 6 and 6.2. I assume you are going to top water so 6.2 is good, if you are doing hydro I would do 6.0 because the PH will climb as it sits in the reservoir. You check your PH after you add the nutes and stir well. It is also not a bad idea to check the PH of your runoff like the other fella suggested. Make sure to calibrate your meter once a week and that’s if it’s a nice one more often if it is a cheapy. My advise if you can afford it get a the 100 dollar Hanna it does EC, TDS, and PH. They sell 7.0 solution that you use to calibrate with, it is way cheap. The Hannah suggests that you use the 7.0 and the 4.0 solution but I almost never use the 4.0 and have had no problems. You will also need to buy some PH up and PH down to adjust your PH. There is organic ways to PH up ad down if you prefer I think someone earlier gave directions how, but PH up and down are cheap as well. Good luck keep asking question and reading forums and you will do just fine, but be careful there is a lot of bad info out there. My last advise to you is to keep it simple you don’t need ten million nutes to grow great weed.
