All I can say is WOW, nice grow man.. but one question, if you had 5 pounds wet, how do you get 4 pounds dry?

Duno man im just assuming as in giving an approx figure as i didnt do an offical weigh in when dry.

Like i said 430 grams dry and four pounds wet. Give or take i think about 4 maybe four and half pounds dry. But yeh happy with the outcome and getting ready for the next grow.

Mabey I don't understand how 4 and a half pounds dry equals 430 grams dry and four pounds wet..

Sorry for the confusion, but I am wondering if you really picked up 4lbs dry off those 4 plants...That would be remarkable...the best I have done so far is 5 oz off each plant indoors...

I used rockwool for starters.

Additives and nutes are as follows:

Canna A and B for Veg and Flower
Nitrozym
superthrive
Regen-a-root (Canadian Xpress)
Monster bud
OZI tonic
PK 13/14
Bud-link
Liquid potash
Blend #5
Floralicious

Obviously not used all at one different stuff throughout the cycle.

If your not in Australia i think most products may be hard to find but here is a link with the stuff i use:

Well it seems you have a lot of work ahead of you if you want to get a pound per plant. I dont nessarly grow my plants small as do many growers on this site. I do 1 plant per square meter.

Once again 4lbs wet and 430 grams dry. So i would say (only estimating) 4 pounds dry in total. I do try and go for a pound per plant when i grow with the big bud strain. I only grow for weight not quality as im not a smoker and i like to look after my friends .

:mrgreen:I think the other dude that was commenting and asking how you went from 4 lbs wet and 430 g's dry seeing that 430 g's is about a 15 and 1/4 ozs. Then u said that u got 4 1/2 lbs dry at 4 lbs wet thats impossible since herb is about 2/3 to 7/10ths water the weight would always be less once dried. Unless u got that outta space shit that doesn't dry out and lose water:blsmoke:

I think that the confusion here is that what most people are not seeing is that he is saying that each plants gives him 500grams or so of wet bud and then when each plant is dry he has 430grams remaining,so hes saying hes only losing 70 grams by the time its dry, this is easily achieved by letting the weed spend the last 2 weeks fairly dry.:blsmoke:

LOL, the whole thing is confusing to me! The math done on this grow is made way to complicated, it is open to interpretation..

Also a huge weight factor is how much resin the strain of cannabis he is growing produces, any weed that is a high resin producer will obviously always weigh a lot more than another plant that does not,one last fact to add is that i have heard that if you let the plants get quite hot constantly but not hot enough to damage them they will certainly produce more resin and i noticed that in his pictures he has the lamps exposed and hanging down in between the plants so im sure that this would create more heat, yet he has obviously managed to stop the lamps from burning the weed,so i wonder if this is why he has a good weight factor from these plants:neutral:

ok ok, here goes last time. I sold 4 pounds wet to a mate(plain and simple, as soon as it was clipped he came in under 5 min and took it) anddd then i kept a heap which finished to be 430grams this was dryed and ready to smoke.

Please tell me some1 understands that.

got it. pretty kewl. What i really want to know is how hard is bb to grow. Haven't had a good indica strain like that since i left oregon. was thinking about doing it on my next grow.

Mate a very easy and hardy strain to grow. Im not a perfect grower who can keep the room temps at a consistant level plus a hole heap of other stuff and i felt i did pretty well.

if you got a total of 5 pounds wet you should end up with about 1.5 or 2 pounds dry. the 4 pounds wet you sold is probably 1 to 1.5 pounds dry
