Anyone grew Nirvanas Northern Lights X Big Bud? How about Greenhouses White Widow from Nirvana?

how does it smoke/smell/taste?

i couldn't really tell you, I had some heat problems so I had to harvest early and it was shit worse than regs, I'm in the process of flowering the clones

what happened to the 3rd one above? why is it brown? did it die?

yeah that was the mother, late in flowering all the leaves died I mean all the leaves, it stopped growing....it blew......I basically sold it all for mids prices. I think it was ph problems that led to to it all. That mother had like 7 or 8 ounces come off it. I can only imagine the yield if it had gone correctly........in that pic all the leaves dies and fell off even the little leaves fell off, that pic is all bud.

Dude I didn't say anything bad about the strain, it was me who fucked it up. Its a good strain

I have grown the nl x bb, I got a free pack for some things that where lost in the mail. I think I grew out 4 of these and out of the four 2 where female. I grew those out and cloned both, one was a supper fast grower and wanted to get tall, the other was much more squat. Both produced good bud but the tall lanky one grew so fast and gets me about 3.5 to 5 ounces per plant ( fast tall pheno not the short squat one, the shorty did not yield that much and was slowwww) indoors in dwc under a 430 hps. I have ditched the short pheno and have stuck with the fast grower she is great. She grows fast, the stalks are very bendable wich works for me because i lst her and she yeilds phenoenal. The clones take pretty fast and once they root they are off to the races. I would rate the quality of high as pretty good and the thc caps i make from the trim are STRONG. This one smells pretty nice like fruity almost and tastes decent to although I am sure it would smell and taste even better but I use the lucas formula and do not flush before harvest ( yes I know.... don't have the space in my dwc room because I use one res for everything and mine come out about every 3 weeks). i have kept this for almost 3/4 of a year and don't see getting rid of it unless I come across something that is as easy forgiving and quick growing. I was suprised at the quality of this one and will keep working with it. I would like to extend my veg time on the clones and then put the moms under a 1000 and see how much I can get from each.
