Traded some beans and got some northern lights from nirvana seeds. Im just wondering if they are legit beans or I just got some bagseed. lol Anyway these things are only 3 weeks veg. but man do they look like a sativa big time!! Ill post pics when lights on but they're stretchy, branchy, long skinny fingered leaves, the works. I went to grow journal section and searched, but all the NL grows I checked out don't look like mine. Has anyone had a sativa phenol of NL? Just wondering if I should rip em out. Don't want to waste the space as I only ever do 3-4 at a time. Dude swears they're from nirvana still.

I have grown Nirvana's Bubblicious and it was some decent smoke even though the yield wasn't that big but that could be also it being my first ever grow. Good luck with your grow.:joint::peace:

I grew 1 fem of Nirvana NL and it was sativa looking. Thin leaves, long internodes, took forever in flower. I took it 12 weeks in flower and it still had white pistils on the top buds.

I would pull it at 10 weeks next time as the pistils on top never changed anyways. The trichs were cloudy at 10 at never really ambered much at 12.

If you like potency this has it. I felt kinda tired and 'cloudy' on the comedown. Late night smoke to prepare you for sleep imo. Not a lot of sativa effect, maybe some at first but later it is sedative.

Thanks fellas. Yesum do you have any pics by any chance? If not check back here when I post some up and see if mine look like yours did, I'd appreciate it. Was the yield any good, and what was your set up? Sorry for the hundred questions. I'll be using 600 watt hps in 3 gallon pots with my version of super soil.

Still have this one actually and the forming of ''balls'' I suspected, actually became another branch. I've never had that happen before, 2 branches from one node. So the sex is still up in the air. I'll post current pics tonight. These are pics I took when I was going to post em for yesum. If a mod sees this, would it be to hard to switch this post to the seeds and strains, or is it ok just to make another post there? Believe it'd get more traffic. Totally my fault posting it here, sorry bout that. Still just wondering if this sativa looking plant is a northern lights from nirvana, or just a bagseed.lol

I was running Nirvana NL a couple of years back. It was Indica dominant, short and bushy. It was very potent and the yield was pretty good. Check out the thread in my sig for pics.

Northern Lights (The Dutch original) was a pure indica. It has been the mainstay of most breeders, and many cultivars have been made from it. Hard to say if you got the original (IF it exists anymore) but so many of the hybrids are freaking awesome anyway.

My first and only experience with Nirvana was with their NL a few years back. Nothing to write home about. Like someone else mentioned, it just didn't seem to want to finish. The pistils refused to turn brown and recede back into the bud. It was very low odor so I guess it might be an alright strain for someone where odor is an issue.

Man it's late. bout to hit the bed but here it is. Looking very sativaish. More so than all the journals I've checked out. I guess it's not to far off from the ones in the pic above though, Maybe they're nirvana after all. also a pic of where I thought it was a male. started just like one, a crab claw on a stck. then they just became their own branches. first I recall seeing that on any of mine before.

The one up there still never showed sex, it probably was one though. The other was a female. I just threw em out. I don't have the space for some sativa monsters, lol. Last time I trade seeds locally.
