Hey guys, the temp in my grow box was over 30c because it was so hot outside, so I decided to leave the plant on the windowsill and seems to be doing quite well

I love auto's, they grow like weeds
. Explosive growth will happen around day 20, mine doubled in size in 5 days after day 20 lol. Its great. Keep up the good work and happy growing

For auto's they veg for about 4 weeks and then bloom for about 5 weeks. I started bloom nutes at week 5 for weeks 5, 6 and 7. Started the nutes when they started budding (10 or more hairs in a cluster). My one northern lights was almost 2 feet at 4 weeks and my other was only just a foot at 4 weeks. So it really varies but yout looking at atleast a foot. Mind you auto's explode so little plants usually always catch up. Link to my pictures in under my signature if you wanted to take a look. Decided to start LST yesterday (14 days) hows it look?

Also i havent noticed any difference in the size of the top leaves for a few days now, could it be stunted?

not looking bad. Ive heard that the autos like a bright and boring life, i.e. same light, same times etc for best growth.
Im midway through my first grow that started on the 3rd of sept ive got Big bang, Bubelicious and speed devil. The speed devil is looking super frosty but only a few inches tall, skinny and runtish. On the other hand, my bubelicious that started on the same day is about 12" tall and about 14" across with probably 40-50 budsites. I found with a few others that the ph at the start (i was trying rockwool) seems to make a huge difference to the initial growth of the plant, however it tends to even out.
I have another speed devil that is 2 weeks younger, with no frosting and almost the same height, i guess that will be a true test.

Ive found that if your looking for things to do, then germinate some bagseed and practice techniques so that your too occupied to fiddle with the little auto
Might be worth checking the runoff ph, one of the soil guys will be able to tell you what it should be.

Hye, ive subscribed to your thread cause im interested to see how bubblicious turns out the way you have it growing, as well as indoors. I have bubblicious, northern lights and blue mystic from nirvana, there a week or two from being done, well my blue mystic is done, just waiting till next week to harvest cause it needs some more flush time. Just want to say, NICE Critical Jack auto, you did a good job!!. That sucks about your northern lights. I bought 5 northern lights, 5 blue mystic and 5 bubblicious from nirvana this year, all of them came up no problem but i did loose 6 to deer and weather, which sucks but i had no problem with them, so its weird that yours didnt come up. The problem with buying seeds is you dont know how old they are, but a little trick i do when buying in store, rather then the internet is... When i get the seeds, before i germinate, i get some really fine sand paper and gently rub the seed all around. This takes off the hard outer shell that keeps old seeds from sprouting (the water cant get in). Then i germinate, ive had a 10 year old seed germinate that way, so if your warry about your seeds, do this and you wont be disipointed. Well hope this helpsi've also got a pack of bubblicous... hope they are better then the N-L by nirvana... i only got three out of 10 seeds to germ

thats a cool tip with the sand paper thanks ... i've heard about people finding bag seeds from the 60's and 70's and they've germed... it all comes down to how they are stored i guess

The plant isn't looking very good imo the lower leaves are fading to a light green, the leaves have been drooping for a few days and i think it's because theres not enough oxygen getting to the roots due to the bad soil..I want to transplant into better soil but It'll be kind of hard with this soil because it's not like the soil in the shops. Is there anything I can to to get more oxygen to the roots without transplanting, should I just leave it in this soil and hope for the best?

Best thing you can do without transplanting it is watering your plant with really oxygenated water, you can do this by adding a air stone in a jug of water for a hour befpre watering. If you have a fish tank, that would be perfect. But if you dont have a air stone or a pump and dont want to buy one you can also do this. Buy Hydrogen Peroxide and mix 1 pint of Hydrogen Peroxide to 1 gallon of water. Mix well for 10 to 15 seconds, then let it stand overnight before you use it. This water will be full of oxygen for your plant. Also check out this site, its really helpful when your having problems with plants... http://www.growweedeasy.com/marijuana-symptoms. Hope this helps
