Nirvana Northern Lights AUTO-flower

Contrary to popular belief, the new Nirvana Northern Lights Auto IS in fact a true autoflower.

Germed mine on August 5th, they (10/10) have started to flower on day 33.

So be patient, they're definitely LARGER autos, which is what I was looking for.

Couldnt be happier so far.

Sweet! Post harvest, can you report back: flower duration, yield per watt, and nug quality?

NICE thats good news cuz i got 15 of them bitches coming and im hoping for the best. have had great luck with blue mystics and their short riders. still waiting on the bubblelicious to start flowering after like almost 9 weeks of growing.

I have a Bubblelicious the same age as the NL and no pistils yet.. We'll see.

they got preflowers or have bud sites? two different things. Post some pics of your buds. Nirvana pulled the AF off the shelf and more than likely wont be selling them anymore. Dont count chickens before they bud!

Id really like to see these in a grow room. Ive been doing a lot of reading about these NL autos. If they are a true auto it should not take longer than 20 days to auto. Three weeks is a bit long for the auto. I dont doubt there function just there flower time. If they take three weeks to auto then it would allow a larger plant. Once AF's hit the flower stage, they stop growing so if in fact they do auto at three weeks this will be a rather large plant. the thing that i wonder is if they do really auto and not just preflower at three weeks. usually at 10-15 days ill see a preflower and then by week three im getting solid budsites. id like to see some progression shots of the growth pattern to id the trait.

There people go speaking out of turn they put them as out of stock to work out some issuses. Never once did they mention not bringing them back. I have 10 NL Autos about 35 days in and they started to flower at about day 25-28. Thats some negative shit that doesn't benefit anybody so save the rumor spreading for girl's night out.

if they dont flower within the 60 day time frame should they be tossed or let them keep going?

yes under 400watt hps 16 hours a day

This is my first post ever.

I also have a Nirvana Northern Lights Fem Auto, I'm a noob so I'm only growing one. I planted mine on 9/1 and was using 18/6 for the light cycle. A few weeks ago I looked on Nirvana's site and saw the issues concerning auto flowers so I switched to 16/8. After about two weeks I had just a few pre-flowers (little white hairs). I became impatient so I went to 12/12 about a week ago. Now the flowering seems to be coming along, I don't know if that would have happened anyway or if it's because of the 12/12.

Some one should just buy a large bunch of the seed stock and do a selection to make it 100% AF. If some people are getting af's and others not, it just hasn't been worked enough yet.

Maybe some stand-out phenos to be found, if you had the room to do a nice big selection.

I don't think they should be labeled AF, Semi AF would be more appropriate.

Cool that the thread starter found one, did you get a male too mate? Hit that girl up with him... you'll get alot better % AF in those seeds.

i got 10 northern lights and a couple medijuana seeds left the med isn't a/f tho but iv had trouble with the meds being male so i didnt do the rest.<stunk so good tho

i believe this is a female but this is at 80 days and is a autoflowering plant that just has really long white hairs from the intersections and were buds would be can someone help me out

cant tell from the pic mate, but if that is an auto, i wouldnt waste any more leccy on it.. could be a sativa pheno,, no good..

what kind of help? It may have taken a while, but those are buds growing on there.

these are both autoflowering northern light one on left is 36 days one on right is 84 days both under 400 watt hps with a clf on it to and holes in bottom of container. my dirt is farm dirt aka horse and cow shit and i use fox farms nutrients every 3 watering i water every 3 days
