So I'm doing a small pc grow, with some auto ak
my seedling just hatched planting it tonight.
I have a bag of MG organic and some perlite, I was thinking about doing 7 parts soil 3 parts perlite. 70/30 mix

Just looking for some advice on what I should add, and or if my ratio looks right.

Thanks

i work with mg and i use 70% soil, 25% perlite and 5% vermiculite, u wont need to use any nutes for a couple of weeks btw, be careful coz if u do you'll end up burning the plants

We only use inert seed starter soil for germinated seeds. Soils with nutrients already added can be hard on the little ones.

i agree with mothersfinest there, i dont use mg until my plants are around 2 weeks / 6" tall.

i mix my soil to perlite at 50/50 its up to you the more perlite the more watering you need to do cos alot of water drains out so fast

Seed starter soil is mostly vermiculite and peat. You can use any percentages of these two substances in your seedling soil because the little plants can grow well in 100% of either. I'd say go with 50/50 of your soil & vermiculite to be safe. Equal parts would be an easy mix also.

Too much vermiculite in normal soil impedes drainage so it's usually only used with seedlings that require a moist environment anyway. Speaking of which, be sure to keep the humidity up on your babies until they shed their shells.

vermiculite or perlite? perlite is better IMHO because it will help drain off excess water but vermiculite holds in water.
like everyone else says,70/30 to 50/50 mix will work fine
