Newbie question; Plants going to flowering from veggie by itself

So I have 3 Super Skunk clones that for some reason started flowering by themselves for some reason. Last week or so I noticed that the light was off for a few hours but just happened once. In Veggie I usually just keep the lights on 24/0 so my guess is that the few hours of the light being off made them think that is was time to flower but the funny thing is that one started to flower a few days ago and than stopped and now the other two are flowering. So my first question is, do you guys think they started flowering due to the period of the lights being off even though there is a week delay? Second question should I change my light to 18/6?

yes it's possible the lights being off for that short period could have been the trigger to go into the flower stage

Second question....lots of opinions of this subject... I would reduce to 20/4 or 18/6, but others may say 24/0....your choice

What exactly was the lights off incident? You were on 24/0 and then what?
Well if I remember right the lights turned off for 12 hours and than the day after when they turned off I turned them right back on since I was in the room. Switched rooms and forgot to switch the timer. I just wasn't sure if the one time would really effect it. like I said I never had it happen before so was just wondering why and if someone else had it happen before

Yeah I know a lot of people have different opinions about the 24/0. Never heard of 20/4, would it hurt them if I switch from 24/0 to 20/4 or 18/6?

No it will not hurt them if you switch from 24/0 to 20/4 or 18/6.

I'm using 20/4 on my current grow, others have been 18/6....personally I do not go 24/0 beyond the first few days
