Im a newbie and this is my fourth grow but nearly not as experinced as I would like to be. Well I wanted to try something I never done before. I had previously veg my plants untill they got about a foot long or two months or so. This time arround I wanted to start the flowering after 1 week of veg. I wanted to do this to first experiment with my space I have available and two to see what I can Harvest doing this. I have a 2x2x5...(L.W.H.) grow lab tent with a 150w H.P.S. lamp and I just removed my C.F.L.'S that were 59k 120w. My question is now that I'm trying to start flowering a bit earlier than before are my plants going to need for some nutz yet...or when can I feed them since they are only about two weeks old. please advise me if you can, another reason why I veg for only one week is because these seed are reggie seed from a bag I bought and wanted to make sure I don't have any males.

What medium are you in? I assume soil. On what you've given me I can say yes your plants will need nutrients while transitioning into flowering. But my advice is that you stay with a vegetative feed until they are 2 weeks into 12/12 than begin flowering food, always feed at a low dose and build up to a strength your sure your plants can handle to avoid burning them, that has a negative effect on yield IMO and can easily be avoided with slow increase and a careful eye.

Yes I'm growing in soil I'm not all that good at it yet to try Hydropronics. So I'm in some seed/cuttings starting MG soil but Im in the process of getting some higher quality soil. I am investing in a Hydro...or a Aquapronics system with like the fish and fish tank and stuff I am intrested it that. Does cutting the veg time give me s smaller short tree and harvest?
