Hello all! Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your community. Yall are truly awesome and there is tons of good info on here for ppl like me. I was a part of another forum but i could never get responces from educated ppl so I had to drop that place... Anyhow

I have been on my first grow as i have uc and crohns disease im trying everything to get better within the legal realm. With that in mind i am grown with my own place. I have a veg and flower tents. I have a 3 month old plant i have been vegging i have topped it and supercropped it and ended up l.s.t. it. I have been vegging it under a galaxyhydro 300w led which looking back was prolly a mistake but it seems to have done ok so far. I have a hid setup for my flower tent 400w 4x2x8. Now to my question... i have been running GO box nutes i have my plant in 3 gal smart pot with ffof. Everything looks good and healthy so far as i can tell i want to start flowering soon. I have all of the go box flowering nutes but after alot of research turns out i bought crap nutes... but they are organic even though ffof is not.. now i picked up some maxibloom other day... so should i stick with go box on this plant or try to go maxibloom? Im afraid changing will kill anything beneficial and possibly screw up the plant??? Either way i am new and learning and trying to get as much knowledge and experience as possible. I have time and patience seeds and money to do what needs to be done. Just need some experienced help. Thanks up front.

My preference is for the non organic Maxibloom, many of these bottles say they are organic, but in fact far from it, as is common knowledge here ..that its a marketing ploy ...that works well with noobs, once you have some grows in ..look to becoming truly organic making your own nutes out of garden or household crap, is the best method ...and is fun too

400w hps/HID is ideal for 9 plants in 3 usgallon pots to about 3 feet high with 1 month bud and 2 months bud, with the light bulb 6 inches from the tips offering about 64k lux so ensure you have great venting, I'd be tempted to flush the pots moving from 18/6 to 12x12 to rid ur plants of any excess vegging nutes and add 30% perlite on the next grow to your FFOF..good luck

Yeah im 1/3 perlite and 2/3 ffof. Thanks guys. Yeah i just have the one plant. Got 2 more seedlings didnt wanna over crowd or overwhelm myself at first i got fem seeds from gorilla. So swapping from go box to maxibloom wouldnt hurt my plant you dont think? I hear great things about maxibloom, and not much good about go box.... im researching what to go with next time as i go like advanced or house and garden kinda mix and match... i have everythi g i need to try a sports cooler bubble bucket but trying to get luttle more experience before kicking that off...

Any pix? I'd say if your using the go box it's best to wean the plant instead of stopping all together to use maxi bloom. I use maxi bloom and introduce it in the second week of flower at a low dose because the pk is so high. Then every nute change up the dosage til you are using a full dose per gallon. Wean off it the same way towards flush. It's nice to have a schedule already filled out on a calendar so you know exactly when to add/subtract nutes.

MaxiBloom works very good...my mix is for a 4 gallon batch...use 3 level tbs of maxsea...you will need some PH up to bring the soup up to 6.5 ph.

Ok yeah that makes sense to me. Im still vegging right now wanted to get a plan of action together before jumping the gun. I do have pix but havent figured out posting yet. Now in 3 gallon buckets should i plan for them to finish at 3 foot therefore putting into flower at 1 ft? Bc i gave topped and supercropped and tied my plant down so she is more like a bush. Or should i swap to a 5 gallon smartpot before flower? Wont that shock her a little? Sorry i have so many questions.
