Newbie here, wondering when to harvest???

Soo i have no idea how long this has been flowering/budding. Originally was a PC grow but had to be abandoned and transplanted into soil... I completely lost track of time on the plant so i don't know how long it has been growing etc.. I'm thinking about water cure because ive put soem strong pesticde to get rid of grasshoppers to no avail

Maybe some one can help me decide when to cut her down?

Another question here, it looks like there is a lot of little buds along main stem, how do you go about harvesting when the buds are not really on branched out leaves?

Hope it doesn't die, its been raining for over 2 days straight!!!!!! And i watered it 4 days ago i think......

At least a month. It will not die.

You've probably read it since you know to look at the tri comes but you should really go to radio shack and buy one of their microscopes! Best I've heard of so far! And they are only about $15.00 worth it so you'll know the exact time!

about 4-5 weeks left on that.

I want everybody's opinion on water curing, i want to do this b/c ive read about how unwanted chems and such get removed through the water, im just not sure how to dry it afterwards...

has anyone here done it ???

I think it almost rdy, not sure if i should use dehydrator after water cure....

my plants looked like that about a week ago they get tastier every day it seems like

water curing? ive heard other people talking about this? last guy i asked said you take buds in a jar fill it 3/4 the way, and then you pour the rest of the jar filled with water. LOL wtf?

I have decided that I am water curing, I am unsure exactly how long to hang and dry after the 7 days of water curing. Maybe put a couple fans going on the buds in a closet???

I tryed water curing once, just for the hell of it, on some bud that I did not flush. It lowers the yeild, and removes all taste and smell of the pot. personally I would not do it again.

I'm nott too worried about appeal or smell, i was kind of hoping it would still taste kinda good..., thank you for your input, it seems like not many on RIU have water cured...

From earlier pics looks like u still have a decent amount of flowering left. Wait till you see those pistils begin to die back. Good indicator. Then if u really want you can get a jewelers loupe or magnifying glass and look at the trich colour.

I just bought one of those 6oX-100X microscopes from "the shack"

looked @ some small pieces i took from a couple buds with the microscope, seems like there is a lot of milky/clear trichs. it was kinda hard to tell though, since i think i knocked off alot when handling the pieces i pulled off. (thought i saw a couple amber ones but it could have been the light from the microscope.)

would it hurt to wait another week even if i saw some cloudy ones?? i really don't want "knock-out/couch-lock" weed lol, and at the same time i dont want to harvest too early

dude fuck water cure it makes your b-ud smell like shit! you still have at least a month wait till all those white hars get darker in the mean time no nutes , nothing but spring or distilled water. the only good thing about the rain is that it may have helped get those pesticides off . dont do that ever again! neem oil lightly, or there is some other shit called mx90 or somthing but i think its just a mixture with neem oil. just start your flush watch hairs and trichs . less is more

i think i might do half water cure, since it looks like my plant is kinda weird in that along the main stalk there is a bunch of buds, only one branc really with a small bud...lol
i actually sprayed with some diluted neem oil today, (rose defense i think?) yeah i kinda freaked out earlier i nthe summer and sprayed some diluted "karate" pesticide b/c i had a LOT of grasshoppers

so you think i still have like 3 weeks??? in a n earlier post someone said i had about 4 weeks, and that was a couple weeks ago LOL, what do you think based on the above pic?
