Greetings!!!

I have a GrowLab120W grow tent, 4x4x6.5 and I have a 600W Daystar with Grow YoYo light hangers. However, the little hooks that came with the Grow yoyo seems to intended for outside a tent, lilke connecting it to a stud in a wall or ceiling.

What can I use with these Grow YoYo to hang the light in the tent? I bought some 1/4" S-Hooks but they were too small to go around the bar in the tent. I read about someone saying to bend the S-Hook, but I am just looking for a non-DIY solution that will work.

I don't mind buy another suggested light hanger, I would just like to use something that works and can raise and lower my light in the grow tent with no issue.

How do I hang this light in there, I see a lot of DIY hanging on this site.

THANKS!

I will post pics soon!

I have a DR100L and I went to Home Depot and bought some chains with 4 S hooks and the clips that you would find at the gym to attach different bars and handles too. I don't know exactly what they are called, but I'll be running to the depot later so I'll post back.

Nice tent. I also have one to veg/clone in.

I just tied my yoyos up with wire. Simple and cheap. And you can make it neat too if youre concerned about that kinda thing.

@bongmarley2009 Thanks, looking forward to that pic as this has been an effort on my end trying to get the light set up. I have some great pics of what I started with, Ill be posting that later on as well, couple hours from now.

I went to Home Depot and I bought the 1/4" S Hooks and they were too small, definitely interested in seeing what you got.

@RedHairs , hey I was thinking the same thing last night but I wanted to get some feedback 1st. Take a pic please? :-)

Thanks for the response!

I had some free time, so I took some pictures for you. I have found this is the easiest way to move my light up and down. With the "clips" I was referring too, you just have to slide them on at either end of the roof support poles as they will not clamp around the actual pole because the ones I bought were too small. I purchased the yo yo's and hated them from the start so I threw them away.

@bongmarley2009 thanks man , I REALLLLLLLLLLY appreciate this!

I'll be going to Home Depot on my lunch break to buy mines as well, this is sweet. I should have got them last night.

Thanks so much for the pics, I'll show you mines later!

PS. I attached a view of the day before 4/20 when I bought all of this stuff!

I'm glad I could help. It's definitely a very simple way to move your light up and down. Your grow stuff looks awesome. Let me know how loud that Vortex fan is because I went with the 4" and 6" valueline fans which are much cheaper and they aren't as quiet as I would like them to be. Off to Home Depot I go to buy the accessories to hang my new 150w light. Sadly, I have to abandon my 400w due to my living situation next year.

You have to loosen it a little (use the metal wing-nut) and then pull the string to the correct length, and then retighten it.
