na this is a plant from seedling just one, uno, single plant.(survivor of 5 popcorn bagseed) figured id test out my first cloning attempt of somthing simple rather than wating 50-100 $$
Ok so you've got one seedling and you're going to take clones. You've got a humidity dome or something similar? And once you get the clones, are you planning to finish their life cycle under the lights you showed us?

well the flour bar is 72 watt plus the 42 cfl i was going to take out the cfl and throw in another 2 of the bars. i havnt added any nutrients what so ever except whats in the "NK all purpose starter organic mix" and i let my water sit out about 2-3 days. i have a reliable source that told me to add a tea spoon of Epsom salt to a gallon of water and to do a top dressing with bat guano, but not until i switch to a bigger pot. any objections to this?
This all sounds good.

now you just need a separate space and light for the mother, and those other lights for your flower space.
Once you get the clones you can basically let them recover and root, then flower them as soon as they're stable.
Again, I wouldn't worry about topping or fancy techniques, you won't need them. When old Ma gets too tall either just hack her top off, or flower her nod replace her. Nothing fancy. And those clones won't get big enough to do trick with if you want to use those lights. Just root them and then flower them, no dicking around.

That's my take on it

the proper equipment is accessible when the time is necessary. i was brainstorming and ive come to the conclusion that i would either purchase a hid & ballast or bust out with a crap load of cfl's lol. would it be possible to finish clones off with about 3 or 4 of the flour bars? the packaging info says its used for flowering and vegging.orr
sorry for the late replybongsmilie

I definitely think you can finish clones with 3 or 4 of those lights, yeah. Just keep them very small and don't expect pounds of yield, but yeah

question where would i take a clone off if hypothetically she where to grow like this Patience.jpgForming.jpg

you should look into getting a power strip with socket adapters.. you could easily fit 4 cfls into that space only taking up the top 3-4".. got some 23w CFL pulling 70 lumens / watt... get 4 of those and you will have plenty of light for that space... 6400 lumens for like 15 bucks.
