Newb that needs some help...

So I just recently built a grow box. I am using 3 26 watt CFLs. Now I think I have all the kinks worked out. The temperature stays around 75 to 82 but the humidity wont really go above 40 on a good day. I'm having trouble with my seeds getting started. I germinate them in a paper towel, yada yada, but after I transplant them to soil they just wont fucking grow! I read that you aren't supposed to have the plants farther than 8 inches away from the lights, is that right? I just don't know what the fuck is wrong! Help! must i mention that i cant smoke until i harvest some of my own bud so i really need help!!101_0455.jpg

skip the paper towel method and just go directly to soil. Put the seeds 3/4'' deep and keep the soil moisture (not wet, not dry). I was trying the paper towel method and this same thing happened to me. Just go to soil and you will see the difference.

PS: If you can't smoke until you harvest your grow get ready, is going to be a long ~12 weeks

If you germ. with a paper towel just burry the sprout to where dirt is barely over the seed shell. Also, tap root down in the soil and keep it moist don't let it dry out.

I have had this happen to me where my seedlings would die from paper towel to pot. I think the seeds were just weak. I had to go through about eight bag seeds before I found a healthy one. Did you buy your seeds online or bagseed? Also I would flip your box and put your lights on single cords so you can adjust them. Flipping the box will allow your topps to grow taller. You wont have to top the plant if you do this and you can use low stress training if it gets too tall.:joint:
