newb question

hey im planning on starting my own grow but i need a few questions answered.

1. How much does it cost to start your own indoor grow?
2. How many plants do I need to make a decent amount of money
3. I have no prior experience whatsoever with this topic...can I still start my own grow and be succesful?

also how do I know what seeds to buy?

Exactly, do some of the work yourself, then once you have if you have problems come back.

all i can say is it can cost about as much or as little as u wanna spend and it takes money to make money if ur doing it for pure fun u could get away with the cost of a cfl light ,a pot ,some good potting mix and seeds and a bit of time etc

1. how much it cost to start depends on you. it depends on the siz of your grow room, if its a DIY (do it yourself) if your buying a presetup grow room or closet.2. the amount of plants depends on you think is a decent amount of money. 3. most people have to start somewhere, there is a bunch of threads oh this site that can help you, as well as alot of expirenced growers that can help you through your grow. try reading the FAQ first and then decide weither growing is going to be right for you. and if it is then you are ready to start. and 4. the seeds depends on you aswell, if your trying to get yeild. or potency, or a fast growing strain, or an easy strain to grow. it all depends on your needs. tell me more about what is is that your looking to do with your grow and i'll will be able to help you out some more.

honestly im looking to make money, pretty good money. Ill have about 400-500 bucks to start and my grow room would be in a spare bedroom. I want the strains to be different, maybe a few different seeds...i dont wat them to lack quality but I want a pretty good quantity...can anyone give me a ballpark on how many grams of bud a typical plant makes?

well r u using the entire room as a grow room? or are you using a closet or wtvr? if your using an entire room, fyour first step would be to vent the remm. which means your gunna have toget sum big carbon scrubbers and maybe drillinto the walls. if your not worried about the smell all you need is some fans in there and you will be fine. the strains like i said all depend on u. and there is no typical amout of grams per plant really cuz it all depends on the grower and the strain.i've seen people maybe 1to 1an a 1/2 an ounce per plant on OK conditions. but then again i've seen people get alot more on better conditions.based on your setup and how well you take care of your plants is the reason in which better yeilds are made.based on your setup(if its your entire room) i would go with AK 47, Chroinic, white widdo or white rhyno, some kush. stuff that most ppl know and if presented, they will want to buy off you. now if you know the weight system its 28g per Ounce. and say if your plant gives u an ounce worth of bud. and thats 28 grams. and if ur sellin like 20/g. then thats like 560 dollars per plant. but thats if each plant that u had gave you exactly an ounce (which is not gunna happen because with good TLC a plant can get u way more than that) like i said with yeild it all depends on you. if you, and what i mean by u is the conditions in which u put your plants through. u gotta be more specific for more info tho...........
