Newb mistake

so i germinated two seeds, everything was going great for what was supposed to be my first grow. Then i planted them into their containers.... tried to water but the soil would absorb anything! I tried to dig the seeds out(becasue they were going to die if they didn't get water). couldn't find them

maybe you got too high and THOUGHT you put the seeds in. check where you germinated them again. happens to the best of us

and dont worry i havent even been able to start my first grow haha. my damn seeds are taking forever to germinate. im using paper towel method ha

What kind of soil are you using?

dude i did that today myself looking for a seed that wasnt doing shit in a cup..it happens bro...oh and in the last 2 days ive knocked over 3 of my fucking seed cups, totally lost 2 of them...so that makes 3 all together

I germinated one seed yesterday put it in paper towel before leaving for work, got home it had a tap root, placed tap root into cube and already sprouted today out of the rockwool cube. I place my seed into a wet paper towel and put it into a zip lock bag and blow air into it then place it in a dark cabinet.

I keep trying to tell people not to do the paper towel method.

Not because it does not work, it actually works great. The biggest problem is that people keep opening the towel up to check on it (Me included)!

Just put in the dirt or rockwool or whatever and be patient

Dude, you need to wet the soil in the pot thoroughlyuntil it stsarts draining, th en you plant the sprout. Then when you need to water again , be very careful. Use a dropper or astraw.

Also, I use clean tweezers to handle the sprouted seed.

why a dropper or straw? bury it like 1/4" into the soil and just mist it works fine for me

It's to water with so he doesn't lose anymore seeds

well, Im over it now and i just need to obtain more seed....somehow. those were bag seeds and those are a rarity for me! not quite ready to order online.
