Newb Hydro Question..

Sorry for this rediculous question everyone, but I'm gonna to try hydro seriously for the first time. I kno light absolutely cannot get to the roots, so what should I use for the res tank?

ya get a dark tub and cut holes in the lid for what you need, look up DIY DWC there are alot of ways to do it and a lot of them are shown how to do it on here

Thanks guys. I'm only askin because I'm surprised at what containers let light through.. I bought a rubbermaid container a while ago and the light inside turned it into a night light haha.
