  • She was looking great! all the leaves had turned over and the top was trying to turn up as well. Then my dumb ass has to fuck with the pot trying to get a good picture. I moved the pot material and it tugged the plant a tad too far. It cracked about half way through the stock right at the bend. I had to fess up to the real gardener of the house and the decision to top was made.
  • Turned the head into a rooting experiment. Don't have pics of before, but this is after.

I can't say for sure, I kind of Mr Magooed my way into that 4 topper. I cracked the main stalk by accident after doing some LST. It broke just below the 3rd node and was topped just above the second. I don't know if the LST + the topping caused it or if I was just lucky.... probably just newb luck.

• Day 42
  • Responding well to the LST. I kind of feel like I did not do it right as the tops are kind of the top again but looking closer some of the middle growth has shot up quickly. I think it is good but not sure if I should try to pull down the 4 tops again yet or not? The main stems for them are pretty stiff and do not want to bend much more. It looks like they have grown about 1.5" and turned up since the LST.

it will yield a lot more bud.. low stress means it takes time.. daily training sessions work best..
they are quite flexible....

  • Had to go back down and do some more training last night. Bent the 4 over some more, basically just moved the rope up one node. Trimmed a small hand full of leaves down low in the center. Bumped the lights up to 180w.

  • New tops coming through, so cool how quickly they start taking off.
