Need some help figuring out what lights to use in my new veg tent. Its a 3x3x6 foot tent and will be used strictly for vegging. Looking for the most energy efficient.
Also have a question about my flower room, after putting the tent in the room ive got about 5x5 or 6x6 left, ive already got a 600w HPS . Question is will another 250w or 400w will be enough for the whole room or am i better off just going with the 1k HPS?
Thanks in advance! Any suggestions are appreciated!

Ide do 2 600s vs a 1k, more lumen coverage. And t5s are great veging not as good penetration as a mh but the really promote root growth and strong top canopy, can always under light with blue spectrum cfls

Id want a thousand watts in your left over space or more. The choice is yours. Get 1k and have room to move around the edges and sell the 600 to pay for the 1k. Or get another 600 and have two lights so you can adjust the heights for different plants and have a ton of light in the room. If you run that much light just make sure to keep it at a decent height above the canopy so your not overdoing it. Also one decent de lamp would be ideal. Great coverage.

What would you do for veg lights? I was thinking a T5s or a 400w MH. If i was to do T5s and how many and what wattage would i need to cover the 3x3 space ?

MH are great just junda hard on the Bill. Going the t5 route Ide fit as many as I could get in there :p.
Yeah thats why im looking into LEDs. I was looking into an 8 bulb T5 for the 3x3 room.
Was thinking about going with 2 Pro-Grow 260 LEDs. Just dont know if it will cover a 5x5 or even a 4x4 how id like it too.

I have 2 300w led bricks in a finishing area. Not a fan of flowering with Just a led, I would get a 250w minimuminimum hps and pair that with one of the led panels. Reasoning behind this is 1,canopy penetration. Unless your scrogging. You want some penetration. Also flower density. The hid is more intense causing the flower to produce more resin building density stickiness, and weight... Though I'm sure some will contest this. This has just been my experience.

That's pretty much the one I have in my clone tent. They love it and the 600 and,the 260 is fair. Single 1k would be better. Wouldn't do double 6s in a small space . but that 6 and 260 def be adiquit
