new user new grower advice needed

i hope i did this right lol hello this is my 2nd grow first grow did fine but buds were weak i think i harvested too soon this grow is bag seed soil closet 400w hps light i did 4 weeks 24/0 and im 1 week into 12/12. so im 5 weeks total from seed was wondering if they look good ect thanks everyone

Im new as well, on my first growth, but I want to say they look pretty tall.

How far away were the lights?

They look good to me ,
Maybe transplant the 2 smaller one's into larger pots ,
And in the larger one i would top it up with soil to benefit from the full size of the pot and veg it longer , how much height do you have ?

Yeah they do look nice i just got a sun system 2 400w hps / MH combo replacing about 210w CFL i got 3 flowering babies about 3-4 weeks ago and 3 dreams im going to try 12/12 from seed with they look healthy for sure tho bro

Ty for the replies the tallest one is prolly 2ft others maybe a foot there growing new leaves n stems everywhere i already started flowering can i top in flower stage?and lights was about 12 inches away the 2 big ones are diff seeds they grew super fast and stems are thick

check the trics on when to harvest (the crystal looking things) when they are 1/2 cloudy and 1/2 amber or brown color then its time to harvest. if you harvest before they turn clouded when they are clear you dont get as much thc and if you harvest before they even appear you deff harvested to early.

They aren't getting as much direct light as they should. That is why the internodal distances, distance between leaf sets,
is longer than we like. You want to see more structure in the middle of the plant, overall more bushiness. That's because
structure = growing spots = bud sites = more yield. A lot of the manipulating us experienced growers do is to try to increase our yield.

I would have vegged another week or 2 as you can expect a small harvest from this group. There is simply not enough growing time left in the 6-8 weks
remaining for the plants to get bushy enough to jack up your take. I'll wager that your indica/sativa hybrid would have increased yield close to 50%
by wegging another 10-14 days. That knowledge will come with experience and lurking here is a good way to maximize your experiences. Make sure

I would not top during flowering only during veg, others may disagree but that is my rule of thumb.

Again ty all for your advice im not real worried about yield i just love growing my perty ladies but i wanna improve and with everyones help you have givin ill get this down pat lol
