Hey guys just been doing research and was advised to join a site like this and learn the do's and don'ts of growing. So i registered and here now :)
I am growing with CFL and just ordered nutes big bloom, fox farm etc..
I have a ton of closets to grow in and shows the bigger on for veg to fit a mother plant and clones in. could use same one for veg to but im spoiled :)
bought 2 300 watt cfl 6500K 4200lumens each, I will post pics later of setup.
Im using 2 giant 15 gallon pots to put possibly 2 plants same strain in each one.

questions i have would be nutrient wise , vegging , flowering, using molassess....etc
post your concerns and advice please thanks.

how much more light i have a few 100 watt and like 3 150 watt? i figured the pots would be big enough to have a big plant on top and lots of healthy roots on bottom....was i wrong?

youre definitely on the right track... but youre using cfls, just use a 5 gallon bucket. and as far as how many watts, go by your cfl's actual wattage, like a 26 watt is 100 watt equivalent. .. as far as cfls go, no set number really.. just over 100 watts per plant atleast.. from then on, its as many as you can possibly fit without fucking up the grow conditions or lighting your house on fire

Those pots are for growing trees, you will need like a 600w or 1000w HID light to get em big annd dry that medium out.
Otherwise you will end up root rotting your plants with all that medium and water to acutally get to the bottom.

Can you post some info or pics of your lighting rig? I am curious about your 300 watt cfl 6500K 4200 lumen lamps.
