New Technique needs TESTERS!

Hey all, I'm still pretty new to this but I have been reading GOBS of info, and taking it all in with a grain of salt, I have realized it's all more or less speculation mixed in with some facts lol. This is something I've been trying But I don't have enough plants to test out whether or not it will be worth it.

SO I am looking for a few volunteers as I would like to try this on a few strains.
Please lemme know If you would like to be involved.

Ok so I have been reading posts and one of the most argued issues is "Too prune? Or not to prune?" Now some of you may be thinking wow this has been done before...Well not like this, or at least if it has I haven't seen it as far as I know I'm the only one that has practiced it.

So one side of the arguement is that if you only have say 1-4 tops then you get bigger denser buds and if you remove some leaves so that light can get to the bud its better. There are obvious arguements or Questions BUT I'm not interested in them at this point.

The other side is if you BUSH the plant, top it, lst, bend, w/e, but leave AS MUCH healthy green foliage as you can and you will get dense buds from the leaves producing the energy. I believe this one over the first but I do think they both have points and bad points.

So what I've done is thought of a way to use all or most of these elements at any given time without stressing the plant to a dangerous degree or taking off valuable leaves.

So shall we begin.

First off I simply remove ANY and ALL bud, yes THATS RIGHT BUD! that I can that is in shitty light, aka at the bottom. or in the dense "heart" of the plant. BUT! I don't do it all at once, and I DO NOT remove the stem, or leaves attached to said buds...ONLY the buds. This is incredibly tricky even with a tiny pair of scissors.

What you are looking to do is when you see 2 leaves starting at a new node (a new branch starting) you wait for the 2 leaves to be JUST developed enough to snip off the forming buds, WITHOUT harming or snipping off ANY leaves.
Now if there is a VERY VERY VERY hairlike bud leaf or something that has to go with the bud, fine it's only 1 and if it hasn't developed yet your really not wasteing it.

I do this from the BOTTOM stems first and work my way up and I decide what is worth keeping, this goes based on size/density of the bud, color of leaves attached to it, how much light it's getting and how much the buds along the stem are willing to grow into a mass of bud.

If it's on a stretched out stem and it's really not doing shit even tho it's getting an OK amount of light cut it, It's obviously not the plants priority. I only cut whats lacking.

After this between the 2 leaves and the leaves BELOW them 2 more will eventually start. Let them grow out till you can get 2 leaves per 2x2=4 + the 2 you started with so thats 6 leaves that could have gotten the boot that didn't.

So in theroy (or at least mine) I am growing nice healthy green leaves where they can still collect any light that is not caught by my tops and direct this energy ALL over the plant. Your leaves, stems, roots, will be healthier and your tops will have not only just the energy of thier fan leaves but an addition BUSH worth of leaves feeding it would you think there would be a benifit?

Here are some pics from 03-29-09 where I performed this one my plant and have been watching for infection pests etc. She still looks great.

You can see where I have cut all the buds off that are in crappy places but left nice pretty leaves, The last 2 towards to bottom there was so little light I just cut them off as all the leaves were very small and not even growing.

So here are today's to contrast against.
diff angles and what not.
The last 2 are the main ones, these are lower buds or should I say stems and leaves, well I KNOW there are some pistils or little bud balls stuck to it, when I clip them they fall and stick then after a day in the room with 45-50% RH I can just hit then with the fan and they blow right off, but I JUST cut those to show you.
See all the leaves that If I were lolly popping I would have killed off?

Here we are with what I think will happen here is the cross between the 2 techniques I'm trying. Now this picture only shows bud formations and not LEAVES but it doesn't need to since you won't REMOVE ANY LEAVES unless more then 50% damaged.

-Also this pic originally came From SOG, I merely copy-paste-modified a little. All real credits go to him other then any modifications made.
