New tank of EcoGreen butane still not clean after 7 CL cycles

hey everyone,

i have a new 25lb tank of n-butane from ecogreen that i bought a few months ago (was an orange tank)

i've ran my extractor 7 times, each time pulling ~6lb of butane. before that last cycle i cleaned the vessel, ran it again and still a bit of oil. what gives?

edit: should i get another recovery tank and boil off passively from one tank to another?

Try isobutane. It's way cleaner, aka r-600a, dimethylpropane, or 75-28-5. It's far more expensive but if your reclaiming solvents, who cares about investments being recycled? I would also add hexane and ethanol to the mix, and perhaps a dab of chloroform to extract a higher percentage of thc.

All that backed up w co2 is how I really get down. Low temp and pressure is less yield, but spanks in potency. It's better than n-butane alone by far.

tank and coil in ice brine, vessel in 130f water. vessel sits at about 35psi
try 800-1200 psi for better results, and closer to 25C for potency, but for yield, gray wolf is right. 100C and 10,000 psi is yielding sick though.
