IMG_3443.JPG IMG_3444.JPG So we can all agree we can differentiate B from B+/C.. as for those 2.. from all ive read in here and many other forums the only difference in B+ and C is about 5-10% at most.. so even if you get B+ no big deal still pretty much as efficient as COB and much more efficient than hid.. and at that price!! You cant complaint! Altough I respect the others.. I cant understand why someone would buy any blurple LEDor even any other big brand LED when you can order at a fraction of the price those board with a +\- 10% closest to whats best in the market.. to each their own.. but hopefully newer grower like me will read post like this and realized how good those lights are at that price.. took 3 days even 2 days and a half to deliver to canada from china and cost me 370$usd for 4 board with heatsink and drivers shipped (just shipping was a little over 100$) but got em fast they look great now ill set up my tent amd get ready to roll

Edit : just added the 2 pictures of mine that I got today

Edit 2 : they come from Meijiu

I have b+ and c diodes, I took macros and posted them, you are wrong. Or are you implying that even digi-key cannot be trusted? Where in the video does it say there is not black dot in b+ diodes?
If you check the video you'll see that the size of the dot is different in b, b+ and C

jesus fucking christ... why the fuck do people care so much?

the boards from meijiu are good. if you don't think so, then don't buy from them.

what's the point of crying about something you aren't buying? it's not your money, it's not your boards and most importantly it's not your god damn fucking plants.

stick to worrying about your own shit before crying about other peoples' stuff.

fucking losers.

Just checked them - i fucked up big time - sorry for that. Thanks for the shots and the infos.
(Well, it all started with "confirm that these are S6"... which is still something you can't tell by eye, but yeah, if you can confirm that its LM561C, then it's just a question where its S5 or S6.... fuck that.)

Can't you tell a clear as day difference between the left and right? Every diode on my boards resembles the one on the left, none of them resemble the one on the right. These are both 3000k only difference is s6 vs s5.

There's a slight difference on the bottom of the left of the chip. Pic on the left shows a piece missing while one on the right doesn't.

Yeah, there are more differences if you look closer! The upper gold wire is more visible on the left, but therefor the ESD device is more visible on the right. The right one has also a partwise brighter yellow(maybe 2950°k vs. 3100°k) because of slightly less phosphor powder inside the layer. Unfortunately you have only one S5 diode to compare, I'm pretty sure if you had another one it would look again slightly difference.

Haha, maybe a few more S4 ..? Maybe they come from another factory, Samsung produces in several locations.
The last official datasheet/pdf bore the name Rev.7!

If you go to Russel, tell him Joe Dirt sent you.
I was told there are no stupid questions..
You didn't use your real name but that alias when communicating with him?
Did you communicate within alibaba (provides buyer protection of some kind?) or move it email or phone?
Any recommendations regarding the transaction itself? PayPal, prepaid..?
Much appreciated.

I used meiju i communicated stricly through alibaba messenger but ended up using paypal to pay rather than the alibaba payment just because for some weird reason my credit card wasnt working on alibaba.. not sure it allows me to get buyer protection however I think any of those "trusted" company will ship it to you.. its in their interest if they want more business I wouldnt be too worried about this within minutes they confirmed receiving the payment and organised the shipping the next day

Yes got it by dhl in 2 and a half day to eastern canada. Shipping cost was 130$usd.. i didnt ask for other shipping method but I assume there is if youre not too much in a rush to get them.. The heatsink and drivers were obviously the biggest weight so if you get only the boards and buy heatsink and driver elsewhere it probably significantly reduce the shipping price.. youd have to ask them whatever fits you the best.. in my opinion id rather get them quickly so they dont spend too much time in the mail..

Is that the heatsink in the photo you uploaded yesterday? Looks like a double. Can you show us photos of it? Dimensions?
And please, do share what you paid paid for each item..
One last thing, did you ask and were they open to playing with the amounts on the shipping label?

Please know that every answer like this really helps a lot of people looking to approach this.

You can use 1" c-channels, cut them in length and add them with thermal tape to the boards backside. This way you can avoid these massive heatsink and their shipping costs.

Yeah, its because it is 100mm tape.
The 20mm tape(25m roll) is only ~5,55€ or ~6,90$ and its sticky like hell and works very well. The only problem I see is, how to remove the strips without damage? Its so sticky ... rearly difficult to remove.
