this is my latest creation, it's an F1 , a beautiful "Dead Man" female( one of my favorite clones I've been growing awhile now) crossed with a beautiful male Durban Poison....the results are looking great and the smell is amazing...coffee and lemons with fruity pebbles.....and this is week 4.5 can't wait to see the final product....not naming this one until I sample the first batch....this is a cross I've wanted to do for awhile, I love the Dead Man and wanted to breed it out but, it's very indica dominant, so I waited to get my hands on a pure sativa male...thought Durban Poison would do just great...:hump:

Where does the exotic smell and such come from? I've only ever smelled a strong skunky pine like smell.

well the Dead Man Is ready in about 8 weeks, the Durban Poison is a pure sativa but a quick ripening one at about 8-9 weeks, I'm thinking by the looks of the strain so far it will be done around week 8 so another 3.5 weeks...I'll for sure give an update on the smoke and taste.

well the lemony smell is definitely coming from the Durban Poison, the fruity smell is Just like the Dead Man but definitely playing second to the lemon...the coffee smell has just become intense in the last couple days...smells very strongly of some freshly ground coffee beans....reminds me of being in Seattle when I smell it,,,mmmmm......:peace:

i pulled the girl out of the bloom room to get some shots under different lighting...I can see so many phenotypes from the mother in this cross..it's amazing....it looks just like the Dead man only it stretches much more between internodes....

this shit is smelling so good...starting to get some nice light purple hues on the calyx tips and the leaf margins looks sweet....and tons of resin production..baby

little over 5.5 weeks of flowering now....few pistils have turned red, many are just starting to turn back they are white but the very tip of the pistils style is browning.....they are looking great..just a nice tinge of purple...but they don't smell purple at all....but the dead man is a purple erkle cross...but this cross has so much of the durban in it's aroma............but the bud structure is just like the deadman...it's a great 50/50 cross...the undertones of the aroma smell like the deadman like fruity pebbles.....

I've never had Dead Man or Durban Poison, but that cross makes me wanna get some. :blsmoke:
