here is the cabinet as is. im going to dremel out the 2 shelves. where the lower shelf is i will put a screen for scrogging. im planning on flowering 2 plants. the light will be my 150watt hps . i was thinking about running a passive intake with some pc fans as exhaust. im basically upgrading to a large cab for more room.

i was wondering if a passive intake would be fine if i just cut a hole in the bottom on the inside of the cabinet and then on the outside opposide side of the cabinet cut a hole so fresh air could come in

Great box! are you going to line the box with some mylar?

How many plants are you planning on putting in there? By the size I was thinking About 2, 3 could work with topping but it would be pushing it!

Other than that concern, great grow box for a great price!

Nooo Stick with the mylar. Even though its a bitch to put it up. Just stick with it. Itll pay off at the end!

sweet....i am currently using a similar cabinet. I am dealing with some heat issues, but other than that it is working great. Let us know how it all works out

most of the updates will happen if you follow my grow journal in my sig

right now my 150hps is in a cab thats about have the size in height as this and temperatures are ok.

if anything temperatures my drop even more because the old cab is made of wood and this new case is made of metal

would it make any difference if put a 120mm pc fan more towards the middle of the cab then on the bottom.

having some heat issues. temperatures like to stay around mid 80's. i would like to get that to mid 70's. i was thinking of installing an inline fan but having it outside of the case. what kind of power and size would i be looking for?
