im only hitting 27-28c which is maximum really before it starts getting bad for the plant. i was looking at a cool tube but i would need an inline fan and they are too noisy. i went crazy with my razor blade earlier and stripped most of the main fan leaves and a few of the smaller fan leaves. made her look a lot thinner and more budding. :)

also cheers for the comment :) some of the thicker ones are 8/9mm. gonna have to bin my 2" net pot once this is done. it is completely cracking through the pressure of the roots through the gaps

I normally flower at 16 inches. Although i use scrog i would think you would want to be flowering her now. AT 13 inches she is going to grow to 3 feet and with a 250 your light penetration will suffer. you will get great tops but the underbrush is going to suffer unless you harvest a little at a time and let the rest grow through. I use dwc also and it is great for grwoth. unless there is something wrong i don't know why she would stop growing. I would find a way to keep those cfls to within 2-4 inches from the tops.

Truly incredible to see the difference from the last pic on page 1 and the pic above this post. Jul-21 to Aug-26, Wow.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned in pages 2-5 but WW is generally a very stout & bushy plant, so I think the short stature is to be expected. I'm going to read through the rest of the journal now and get caught up, but just had to comment on what an incredible difference a month can make!

Those roots did indeed look ridiculous! Very nice work man, looking forward to the final results of this and the progress on the Diesel!

ok well quick update. i think i have done what is considered lollipopping. i have trimmed most of the lower growth off as it wasnt getting much light and as of tomorrow we are 21 days into flower so thought i would give those top colas a fighting chance. they are starting to smell real nice and fruity. its quite a sweet rich smell. the diesel stil hasnt shown sex but im seeing signs of preflowers on some of the nodes so im hoping thats what im after and its a girl. we will see in the next few days.

UPDATE!!!

heres a few pics to keep you guys happy :) 23 days flowering. still no sex on the nyc diesel.

please ignore temps on the hygrometer. they are always higher than my standard thermometer because its directly in the light, if i hide it behind foliage it drops to 28. they are a steady 27/28 with lights on and 19/20 lights off. im using the digital one to keep an eye on humidity which is hovering around the 35-45% mark.

the pics dont really do it justice but it is really starting to frost up nicely and it is giving off a very strong sort of ammonia smell which is becoming an issue as its making my entire flat smell. gonna make a DIY carbon filter this week.

heres a couple of the diesel

ppm is at 1400 now. will do a res change friday which should be the halfway mark. ive given myself an october 5th chop date so not long. the reason being that is the 8 weeks flowering mark which should be right for white widow. i may let it go a little longer depending. i dried the lower growth that i chopped smoked a doober out of it and it wasnt that great a high. i have quite a high tolerance though so it was probably better than i thought. gave me a little head high but not much.

anyways. opinions and comment are welcome as always :) happy toking......

well heres a twist i wasnt expecting. NYCD is a boy. very prominent clusters of balls appearing on the internodes. gonna leave it in another week or so to get some nanners then it will be getting chopped and i will be pollenating some of the lower budsites on my white widow so i can have white widow x nycd :) should be stinky. if im right the idea to get good genetics is to grow a male and female from my seeds and back cross again? a little advice on breeding would be good?? cheers in advance

2.5oz isn't that bad. Some people here have 1/4 oz plants. Any plans on fixing the smell issue? Carbon filter? Hundred of candles? A plug-in.

im gonna make a diy carbon filter. and keep the light a bit further from the top this time. was 4" away on average. gonna go for 8-10" this time to stop the canopy getting so hot :) wish me luck. started an amnesia fem and ak48 fem in coco this time round
