New soil - - Worth every penny

I got some organic soil made by Happy Frog...its got mychorrizzae (an additive to really help with root colonization) and one other something that FoxFarm products do not. hope this is useful!!

I have read that mychorizzae is not very good. Just from my own research. google around and read about it. seems to me there are better alternatives.

Happy frog is actually made by fox farm, LOL.

LOL I was going to say the same thing. Alot of people mix Happy Frox with Fox Farms Ocean Forest

Im using FF Happy Frog ( 1st tme ) and so far only have had 2 successful sproutings out of 15 germed seeds after around 17 days.. They were from diff strains (Auto Ak's, DP BB, Paradise WB,G13 P skunk,Gigabud etc ) .. It could have been cuz of old seeds ( from the tude ) or grower error ( dont really see how though ). I will prolly try a diff soil mix for future endeavours.Shit, I may jsut try some MG organic mixxed w/ some MG perlite..At least its at my local Lowes and I wont have to drive 2 hrs ( 1 hr each way ) just to buy some damn FF soil. SO far im not impressed with the almighty FF.

i didnt know that but was referring to the original fox farm organic potting soil that does not have it. I talked to the guy at the dro shop and he said that for what im using it for its the best for the growing season that he has used

both my seeds sprouted and are growing really fast comparred to previous grows but it was just an opinion tryna help people out grow however you wanna grow i'll grow how i want to

Yea everyone seems to LOOVE FF soils..

BTW how old are you? ( just curious .. Doesnt matter)

For everyone on looking at this thread my number 1 choice for my plats in fox farm ocean, mu sencond is fox farm forest.

I also like to germinate my seeds either in wet paper towels on something warm or in distilled water and set for 24 hours.

I use FFOF and one thing I get out of my plants quite often is a "not the best start" but MAN!!! do they get healthy after about 3 weeks!!

Can I get an AMEN?

BTW - FFOF IS "Ocean" ( Forest ) .

what the fuck are you talking about? Fox farm make 3 different types.

i use FFOF for seedlings and cuttings, then transplant into sunshine pro-mix 4... saves some $$ and results are just as good...

happy frog and ocean forest are both fox farm. happy frog is for veg and ocean forest is for flower. both work for both though
