I've been flowering my Buddha passion for 4weeks now and people have said that it takes 7-8weeks to harvest.Now would it be harmful to the buds if I prolong the harvest for another week or do I need to harvest when recommanded to save potency?

I know that but its my first grow and I'm at end of second stage of flowering I see clear trichs but not sure if this powder looking substance is actually trichomes. I wish I can upload a picture but no matter how I post it. It won't show up

Try combs are very distinctive in the way they look. They do not look in any way like a powdery substance, if you have a powdery substance is more than likely powdery mildew. You need to get a pocket microscope and have a good look at you try combs and if it is indeed powdery mildew you need to take care of that ASAP as that shit is no good for your lungs! Depending on how severe case of powdery mildew it might be advisable to cut everything down and start over..

Thanks! Its not more of powder but like someone sprinkled a little sugar here and their.it doesn't look anything like mildew more like normal weed crystal look..

Then it good I'm not a pro at this but have been growing plants for 20 years and have read a lot on growing mj it says 7-8 weeks but that would be in perfect optimal conditions. Check your trichomes with a 30x jewelers loupe ( pick one up at a crafts store) I hear most talk about harvesting when 80% a amber bit I urge u to read up on the that and see what kinda potency (head or body ) high ur looking for .
But also like I said I'm still new with bud so listen to the vets and read ur ass off

At 20 years is still a long time and harvests. I'm looking for a head high so I should aim for amber trichs?

I've been searching for a chart like this instead of separate looking at all those single pics! Thanks for the advice if theres anything at all like tricks or different methods used in mid/end of flowering would be helpful would like to see what else can work for me
