Hey guys, so we live in an apartment on the top floor and in the corner, so we have a room that doesn't connect directly with any neighbors, but its our main bedroom. Right now I set the tent up in the spare room which does have a wall that is connected to the neighbors apartment. I'm worried about smell still from the grow so thinking of moving it into my main bedroom. I do have a carbon filter and 4 inch exhaust fan and plan to stick the ducting exhaust out the window for whichever room i start it in. 4x3x6 2 in 1 tent. Planning to do about 6 autoflowers at a time in the 2 sections .Sorry for the lengthy post, this Freeworld Chem has me zooted ha!

yep, since the tent is a 2 in 1, it has a 3x3 flower space that i will fill with 4 autoflowers i believe and then a 1x3 space with a rack separating the top from the bottom. I am planning on trimming the plants in this bedroom with lots of odor neutralizers and then drying and hanging in the bottom portion of the 1x3 section of the tent.

Shouldnt need to vent outside. Get a second carbon filter and fan and run it in the room. That will really take care of it. Cant have to many carbon filters and the bigger the better. You can run them at low speed (quiet) and they do an amazing job.

Agree with 2nd fan/filter. Your tent will be fine with what you got but as soon as you open the tent, that's another story. That 2nd fan/filter will take care of that. Neighbors will never smell a thing.

You run two
Carbon filters together and it eliminated the smell completely? I live in an apartment complex as well and I’ve been trying to figure out a way out of it so I don’t end up getting in trouble... ac infinity is a good carbon filter?

Phat filters are the best. The bigger the filter the better. 2 ac infinity's took care of all the smell for me. Even just one took care of 98% of it. Now i just have one 10''x39'' phat filter and its taking care of everything so far but im just getting into flower. The bigger your filter is, the more medium there is to filter out odor, less resistance for the fan pulling air through it, and the better they function all around.

Barely fits in my 5x5. Fan usually runs 25-30%. very quiet. Vortex vtx fan with a variac voltage controller to control fan speed.

I am using 1 carbon filter and fan to take care of the odor of my two 3x3 spaces and using 1 carbon filter and fan in the bedroom when I hang dry. Or if I just want to smoke in there it's useful as well.

Everyone that comes over says they can't smell anything growing until they come into my apt. Apts are required too give 24hrs before entering. Plan to be home and have something really fragrant cooking if they do enter. I also have a private landlord who never comes into my unit so I don't worry so much

Thanks, yeah I was thinking a 6 inch ac infinity for my 4x4 but I’ll look into see if I replace the filter with a phat filter then if they are more effective
