New Set Up - PPP and Bubblelicious

I didn't keep a journal for this past round but I wanted to share my new setup.

I started with 6 CFL's for veg and a 600w HPS for flower. I've got a 400w MH in my veg room now and I've added another 600w HPS, air-cooled hoods, and an 8" fan rated at 600-700 CFM in the flower room.

I'm trying to transition into a perpetual SOG. I took clones a few days ago so we'll see how it goes once they root.

Washing machine drain pans work great as a drip saucer and is the perfect size for a 600w footprint (about a m2).

I hooked up the lights in as straight a line as possible to keep air flow at a maximum. The air cooling allows me to keep my lights within 4-6" of the canopy and temps are between 70f (night) and ~85f (day).

A few pics of whats about to come out - Nirvana PPP at about 7 weeks. I'm using the complete Fox Farm line - Light Warrior/Ocean Forest/BB+GB+TB/Solubles/Bushdoctor. I went thru some burn which slowed growth down a bit so I'm figuring another week or 2 before they're ready. Trichs are mostly cloudy, haven't seen any amber yet.

As always input is welcome. I'll update this when the girls come down with wet/dry weights.

Your set-up looks really nice. Some strains will not turn amber, so if the majority of trichs are cloudy (<50%) then it's ready to harvest. Good luck and nice job.

Are you sure about this?? Because I would think given the time all of them would turn amber. Some obv take longer than others due to lineage and stress factors but all fruit ripens in time.

PPP does turn amber, just be patient. I haven't heard of a strain that does not turn amber unless some kind of problem exists in the grow room. ( light leak, various fungus / mold attacks, etc)
I have grown, and continue to grow, PPP from nirvana and it is an easy grower friendly strain. Just keep an eye out for Powder Mildew.
