Ok so I am building a new room (I will post pics of the project) and I need a few questions answered, so here it goes,

The room size is 15x20,

I want to be able to split the space into 4 sections (not all even)

1 section for mommys
1 section for cuttins 0-3 weeks
1 section for plants 3-6 weeks
1 section for plants 6-9 weeks

I also will have space for a cloner and a set of shelves for my bottles, nutes, and shit

This room is being design around growing in dirt not hydro.

What I need to know is how many plants I can fit under the following

400w hsp
600w hps
1000w hsp

as well as with the dimensions can someone with experience give me a good est. on what would be a good number of plants to place in there, I'm not looking for commercial weight but I do want pounds. I was thinking doing a total of 20 30 plants (not including mothers)

What size vent should I get on my reflectors, this shit is going to be mad stealth and no one can know, so I need something that keeps the heat down. Also can anyone direct me to where I can get temp controls and
Ozone makers?

To sum everything up I have 10k set away for this puppy and want it done right.

The number of plants you can grow depends on how big you want to grow them. This is a good explanation of the area that a light will cover https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=59 but a plant can take up a few square inches or several square feet, depending how long it has been growing and if/how it has been trained.
You might want to look at a few different methods https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=category&id=101 and see what suits you.
Once you decide what size lights to use (and how many) you can figure out how big to make each partition, then add up the cubic footage to determine the size of fan/s you will need, and then know the size of ducting to use.
For temp controls I just use household thermostats, I have one on my fan and another on a heater to keep the temps right.
As for ozone generators, what's wrong with a carbon filter on your exhaust? I don't really know much about ozone generators but I tend to think the simplest solution is the best.
If you wanna do things right do some reading. Find out as much as you can about each part before you commit to anything, and be sure that you have made the right choices, doing a grow on this scale isn't without it's challenges, but if you set it up well, it'll mean less chance of problems later on.

70watts per plant is what i've read and go by.Works for me...good luck
Guidelines are all well and good, but the varying size of plants makes it possibly inaccurate. A single lollipopped sog style plant will take less than 70w, you can have two or three per sq ft. On the other hand if you grow a huge bush that is two or three feet across, 70w isn't going to cut it.
If your plants take up a square foot or so, 70w/plant may well be right, but it won't necessarily be right for a different grow.
I'm assuming your talking about hps, right? Clarity never hurt anyone.

yup hps it is.... I agree with you its different for every application. I veg for about 3 to 4 weeks in 2 five site aero/dro tubs and top em and send them in with a 600w hps like I said works great for my big cab. Not to sure how a big room would go. Lots of light missed for the plants im guessing
