Sorry, Soulja Boy is a major doosh. Here is what I woke up to today. The BW is starting to stand up nice! Also the WW is starting to peak her little head above the soil. They are both headed to the case now. Current temp is 84F and humidity is around 40%.

I had a seedling cook @ 90 in moist soil. Bagseed so it was possibly weak genetics but I haven't let it happen since. A temporary stopgap if the temperature rises anymore, you could drop a frozen bottle of water in front of your intake.

Cool, thanks for the tip. I shouldnt have to worry about that til it gets over 90 tho right?

Thats a good idea, the seedlings don't need anywhere near the amount of light you got going so the reflection wouldn't be an issue.. You could do both of them with a single bulb if you wanted.

DAY 6 UPDATE:

Both plants are takin off now. Things are on track. Its been 6 days since they sprouted :)

Talk to me about nutes and LST. I know not now, but Im trying to get mentally prepared for what Ive got goin on. I dont have a whole lot of height space so Im wondering if tying the plant down in a few spots around the pot will give me more light to the underneath. Id think this would especially make sense with the low density CFLs in there not being strong enough to get light to the bottom leaves. I read that after the third set of leaves or so to bend it down and tie it. The intake fans in my case actually provide a pretty good breeze and have been blowing on the stems fulltime for a few days now. They seem to be getting stronger by the hour.

So I figure Im on day 6 from spout now. I read no nutes for 2-3 weeks then start at 1/4 the dose and ramp up. Should I give it another week or so and then start? I have a FF schedule and ive bought some Grow Big and Tiger Bloom. I know the TB is for flowering. Should I pick up some Grow Big too?

Thanks for all the help. Please feel free to comment and leave me some feedback, this is gonna be a fun journey!!!

DAY 9 UPDATE:

Heres new pics. The first on are the 2 in the case. The WW is hella bigger than the BW. They look different too. The leaves on the BW are a lot darker and seem to be pointing downward more. The WW is lush and green.

The 2nd and 3rd are of the BW. You can see the droopy edges in the 2nd photo.

The 4th-7th are of the WW. U can see the growths starting on the nodes in the last couple pics. So far soooooo goooood :)

Well, Ive been putting a little more thought to this overwatering talk and I think I know why. I made some homemade pots to try to fit 3 plants in the space. I decided against it and stuck with the 2. The pots I made apparently dont drain too well . I poked some holes in the bottom but not enough or too small or somethin. So I transported the plants back into the plastic pots I bought at Target. According to my math, they are twice the volume of the rectangle ones I was using and they drain hella better. Ill snap a couple pics so you guys can see. Seems like both plants are happier even an hour after being in their new homes. Im hopin to see more growth out of the BW and it look like its not drowning.

With homemade pots you usually have to punch very abundant holes or line the bottom with mesh. Guess I shoulda said something. The small holes on the gardening pots drain well cuz of that little grooooove on the bottom. . . .

Groooooovy.

Its 420 somewhere right?

DAY 11 UPDATE:

The first pic is of the BW, the next 3 are the WW. The WW is getting yellow curled tips on a few of the leaves. Ive been looking and it can be attributed to a few things, none which really apply to me. Im hoping its overwatering.

Im not using any nutes, and they arent getting burned up from the heat. Its only 83 in there and not even hot to the touch under the plants at all. Ive been using FF soil and bottled water so Im thinking its not PH. Could this be from the stress of moving them to the new pots and the overwatering/drainage problem I was having?

The soil is still wet in the new pots so I was gonna let it suck all the water out completely before I watered them again. Im hopin that was the cause. The BW looks more overwatered with the droopy leaves. The WW has the yellowing edges that are curling so I dunno. HELP!!
