New Papaya/Kush Journal with pics

Day 43 here and my girls just got their last batch of nutes. Added some Overdrive and some Carboload to the final mix. I'll probably begin flushing in 10 days or so.

Clones shown in foreground doing well. They've been under 12/12 for about 2 weeks but I've kept the light a little high to encourage a little stretch. Currently they're under (1) 400HPS but will be moved under the (2) 600's when the others are harvested. Then 12 more will go under the 400. I use the PVC pipes surrounding the tubs to support a screen or to support the plants when the colas start forming.

Thanks to all who followed this journal.

I will start flushing today with RO'd water and hope to harvest sometime over the next 10 days depending on the trichs.

damn man!!!! that just looks amazing!!! IM starting my flush tomorrow morning! unfortunately I will be using ph-d water but will have my merlin for next grow!! Im psyched we are basically on the same calender with these grows!!

Thanks hothouse.....You'll love the merlin. One last check of the trichs last night showed that it should work out to be exactly 56 days from 12/12. I added my second round of ph-d water last night and checked ppm this morning before my drain/refill. I'm down to 80 ppm with first two flushes.

Did you get the "synopsis of" and "best practices" pm?

Thanks twosaws. Every once in a while I get lucky and get through a grow without Murphy's Law coming in to play or SOMETHING breaking down, burning out or needing an "emergency" replacement". Damn, this is an expensive hobby.

I have heard so much about Papaya!! all good.GH good postings,will follow till the end!!
Is this the 1st time with papaya?and are you happy with the out come??

Well, I'm happy so far but all I've done is to sample a few of the lower popcorn buds at this point. Trichs are still partly clear but I liked the cerebral high I got. Papaya is described as almost a "narcotic high"....very much a couchlock weed if you let it go the full duration. I'm gonna let is ripen for a few more days and we'll see at that point.

I'm growing Papaya also! (Outdoor though) I'll never forget the first time I had it... Amazing smell and taste and it puts you OUT! In the description it says big "Greasy" buds.. and thats very true. They were greasy, there is no other way to put it. You're in for a big treat though! Let me know how it goes.. I still have another 2 months or somethin. I'm also growin Cheese =P Best of luck

Thanks for the info Dutch. I'm only a few days from harvest and I was clipping a few fan leaves off the other night just to make sure the lower buds got the last little bit of light. Naturally I brushed against a few colas slightly. When I was done my arms felt like flypaper....all sticky, gooey and greasy. I think I'm gonna like Papaya too.
