I heard a new drug myth yesterday.

there is an hallucinagenic mushroom that, when taken with any amount of alcohol will kill you.

now I know certain types if coprinous (inky caps) will indeed either make you sick to your stomach or cause you to break out in a rash if you drink alcohol within 24 hours of ingestion but I've not heard of anything else.

anyone hear of such a thing?

nope...someone posted a news article about a new dangerous drug on the streets..ghost train haze..lol..dumb media dorks...
im sure its a case of alcohol poisoning due to some one frying too hard..a friend of mine "BIGGS"(hes 350,6ft 7in)was shroomin hard,and had a case of miller..in 20 mins he had 12 down!..i could see some kid doing thev same

That is surprisingly hard to believe anyone could even drink so much shrooming, let alone drink alcohol at all. Although I truly despise the taste of ALL alcohols, but still DAMN the last thing I wanna do when I get up on any hallucinatory is get more fucked up!:O

only thing i wanna consume tripping is pot,ketamine,and more psychedelics..lol
note that my friend can almost hide a beer in his hand hes so big..his sips are half a beer respectively...i dont drink anymore but. can relate to frying and drinking..i drank glasses of tequilia like water once while i was on acid..my friends were astounded..and i wasnt in the slightest way drunk..
i hope some dumbass doesnt sell these shrooms on the street..barbara walters cant
create hysteria atm.:-D

I can drink like a fish on psychadelics, espeically LSD- alcohol goes right through me like I'm not even getting drunk. It always takes the edge off for me, can't imagine tripping around the camp fire without a case of beer!

ive found i appreciate lucy more and can recollect more of the trip/goings on of the night if i dont drink..but boy when i drank alcohol,a ten strip would have me up till ten a.m. still walking around campsites talking to early risers or late party peeps,still schwillin beers or bummin shots offa other festivarians...now,i just eat more acid:-D

come on skuxx..theres not some fabled killer shrooms in the swamps there?..looks like roseanne bar covered in spanish moss..kills alligators with its spores,makes humans trip for 3 years on 100ug of shroom dust,must be handled in a chemical clean up suit..?

I think it is just one more stoner concoction like lsd collecting in your spine or holes in your brain.

there are a few mushrooms that react with the enzymes in your body that deal with alcohol but none in my 40 years of experience that are deadly when combined with alcohol and are psychoactive.

not even the rare puffball that induces auditory hallucinations only.

some of you might be interested in the fact that agaricus (button mushrooms in the store) are actually a poison. They produce agaracine, a carcinogenic compound. Cooking does not significantly reduce the presence of this substance.

not all of them. And I believe all puffballs in the continental us are edible if not choice. But sometimes other mushrooms look like puffballs.
