title says most of it.

so im in Mi, legal MMJ pt thru the state.
decided it was time to legal up, and move forward.

gonna keep this short and simple.

got a few clones from a buddy of mine a few weeks ago.

one was a fresh cut that night, one was a fresh cut 4ish days prior.

im setting up both V and B rooms, had Bloom room done, so started out in there atm

dirt grow starting with clones in a peatpot, and peatpot into a 5 in mesh basket with Happy Frog.
Nutes will be simply Dnyo Gro Foilage Pro 9 3 6 for veg, Pro Tekt 0 0 3 sparcly, and Dyno Gro Bloom 3 9 6 bloom. I may add some bloom just prior to going out of veg into the bloom room.

So im only doing these 2 clones at the moment, and i got a bean to sprout (see my Sprout thread in the Advanced Growing section, and i have a Post on it in the Seed section as its an OLD and possibly RARE seed, so i am taking special care of it).

So i ll just get into the pics for now.
brang them home mar 5.
fresh cut that night just an hr b4 pic

and her older sister cut 4ish days prior

1st girl at approximatly 8 days in

Older sister

Here they are at day 16.

plenty of fresh root growth going on as evident its not longer droppy from the cut started sprouting roots (i imagine as ive not looked at them yet, but the new growth says its rooted to me. lol) and its looking quite good imo.

older sis at Day 16

i have 2 pics at approx 14 days in, and 2 from today at 10am. but i cant get my album to UL them atm. will try again in a bit and update at that time.

once they go to flower (i firgure im going to get them 12 to 15 inches tall before the switch) they ll go to 12/12 from the current 18/6 at 15minute drops per day, to take them into a slow switch (more natural) from cycles.

I have been following Riddlemes and UB threads, so will be employing a Making it rain technique. also where i got the Dyno Gro items to use was suggested thru Ridmes threads. may try Jacks Classis at some point also. but my initial intention was to keep things as natural as i can. but yet tweek for quality outcome.

i ll try to update as much as i can, but as i travel for work, when im gone, it can be all week. thus why im all timered out, growing in dirt, and trying to keep things natural and self sufficient as i can.

All comments and info sharing welcomed and appreciated.

Im just getting familiar with RIU, and will be starting to employ the RIU specific bonus features of the forum as i adjust.
Thanx for letting me share, and looking forward to a great time here.

Day 19

Girl Number 1

Girl Number 2

you can see on girl number 2. the leaves are getting wavy and a few of the tips on one leaf have foled over 180*. I want to say i think this is probably a bit of heat stress? or possibly humidity stress? any one have a good suggestion?

the Mom of these girls and all here sisters also show this triat, though the 180* flipping i have on the tips of girl number 2 is kind of new. but all their older sisters also had wavy leaves here n there, but are doing presumably fine, they look good, green ect....

any thoughts?

Hey seems like you got a good grow coming along. I'm having the same problem with the flipping of the leaves and I have no clue what's causing it. I wish you the best of luck and I'll be tuning into this journal :D

Durbans, not sure which version, just was told its Durban, not sure if its a Poisen or what. but i assume it is.

thank peeps. appreciate the GL wishes. is good to finially be Legal per our 08 MMMA laws, but i feel like i have a copper bullseye on my back bigger than ever now. lol
i ll certainly check thru the journal Buddy. love to see what everyone has producing oxygen.

i also have a seedling started i have logged here on RIU as well. a 30ish yr old Columbian Gold seed. should be PURE CG, as i got the seed directly out of a 2.2 kilo back in the day!

i got to try a bit of it last fall. and some bubble and butane hash made from some imature that frooze. ouch, but it was pretty good then, but wasnt all it could be.

still not sure if i want a boy or girl from the cg seed. the pollen maybe very well needed over a female? not sure yet.

heres a couple pics of the girls tonight

That girl is looking great man! Just wish I knew what caused those leaves to do that it's annoying me on my plants too! Check out my journal I started from seed my girls are doing the same:/ And as for the CG, to be honest I'd rather a male so you have some valuable pollen and worst case scenario (Which isnt too bad) you get a female you can try producing some feminized seeds from it and some killer bud ;) https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/387589-producing-feminised-seeds-using-colloidal.html

Nice! Props to the Dyna-Gro folks. Do you prefer the Foliage Pro to the Grow? I'm doing Grow+ Pro-tek 2-1, 300ppm-800ppm weeks 1-4 and so far so good. =)

this is all pretty new to me BrownBear. the foilage pro was recommended by Riddlemes threads/grows.

when i wen to my local Hydro shop, they were unfamiliar with the foliage pro, but they had other Dnyo Gro nutes on the shelf. so they ordered my in a bottle of it, and Pro Tekt. after getting them and reading up, the owner is really interested in my thoughts on the foliage, but like i told him, im new, so not sure what to expect, that would be different than the other Grow they did have on the shelf.

from what iv gathering, the leave wavy could be from a bit too close of a light. maybe too much heat, or too much light going on (not sure you can have too much light but...).

here are a couple morning pics from about 11 am.

Right on, looks like you've got some good growth going there. =)

I'll have to check up on this method you're using. I still can't quite figure out what's going on here (grow setup) but I'll try and find Riddle's thread.

the Riddlemes threads i found very informative, and inline with what my thought processes are where plants and how they grow are concerned. that is to say, i like to the idea of trying to give the plant as much of a natural evniroment as i can. part fo the reason i choose the CMH 400w bulb setups were due to their ability to display the most similar light spectrum as the sun does.

i m using a similar version of Riddleme's Making it Rain technique to watering. using minimal nutes ect....

my tub setup is just a lift atm. i was planning on a bubble tote, but being i travel out of town for work, Dirt was my best option for grows for now.

Thanx Guys. Trying to get the first phases down. really not much different than growing most anything outside, with the exception of total enviroment control and a few other obvious adaptions.

update on the girls. after 4 days away for work, came home to find the oldest a bit droopy. the dirt was getting dry and on one side slightly started to pull away from the pot. so im pretty sure shes just thirsty. the other girl seems to be doing great, just not as thirsty/hungry as the older girl.

heres a few pics of them as of 2pm today.

you can see the eldest girl here, is a bit droopy, but she got a good drink of water. tomorrow or saturday, they ll get a 3rd drink with the lightly nuted water. and likely the same until this gallon is gone, then i ll mix up a 2nd gallon at 1/2 strenth, and feed with that 1 on/1 off.

and the little sister.

have to head out of town in the am, but just for the day. Girls oveall seem to be thriving well under the CMH.

and as a side note, heres another pic of Sprout at the same time.

today, i moved a small desk into the room to set the girls and sprout on. raise them up a bit, lifted the light. hopeing to help keep any stretch to a minimum from here on out. will be going to bloom problaby end of the week, next weekend on the 2 girls. will get my veg light next weekend, and finish up the smaller veg area. not much to show today. will grab some pics tomorrow.

but they are looking very nice now since the transplant. still have some curl/twist/claw going on a bit, but not sure whats causing it.

keeping the light between 3 and 4 feet away. mom and all the sisters also show this trait (not sure thats what it is but, its kind of looking like it). they all get a bit of a wave going on. Im running a 400W CMH. Mom and sisters Veg under a 4 light T5 (2ft x 4ft) has 8 lights but 4 is usually all thats on. and then the sisters bloom under my buddys 1000w HPS set at 750w. i ll be blooming under the same 400w CMH im using to veg under atm.

i ll certainly check out the competition. should be an interesting read.
