New medium experiment-input welcome

Hey guys, i don't post here often but i wanted to bring this to the board and see what others have to say about it. Please give only CONSTRUCTIVE input, by the end of this thread im sure there will be at least a handful of people that just wanna scream at me over it, thats fine, you dont have to like what i do, but no one needs to hear a bunch of negativity for no reason, so either keep it constructive or just move along.

First let me explain why i want to try this: I've grown in coco/perlite for over 2 years now, i usually keep a constant rotation of 2 plants at a time (two in flower, two in veg, about a month offset) and have had very few problems ever. This run however i ended up keeping an extra plant, i usually take 5 clones and keep the best 2 but this 3rd clone was just too healthy and happy to toss out and my flower tent had a little extra space so i sad fuck it and let it live. Now again my usual medium is coco/perlite and i run the 2 in flower in 5gal smart pots, being that i kept an unexpected plant i was not properly prepared, i couldnt find my other 5gal smart pots when i needed to (have since found them) and i was out of coco/perlite mix. Seeing as it was "extra" i decided to just use what i had on hand, which was a 2.5gal smart pot and my grandmothers favorite soil choice for her house plants- (this is the part where many of you will chastise me) miracle grow moisture control. Now before everyone loses their minds let me just say that i've used MG from start to finish before, i understand its not best choice by far, HOWEVER then this happened:

So to reiterate i have 3 plants right now all cloned from the same northern lights strain. 2 in 5gal coco/perlite, 1 in 2.5gal MG-MC. All grown under the same scrog and 400w Platinum LED lights. GUESS which one is nearly double the size of the other two with almost double the bud spots as well... Yea..its the one in the half sized pot using everyone's least favorite medium.. And believe me im just as baffled about it as everyone else!
Here's the other weird thing about it, for watering/feeding i mix a 5gal bucket of nute water adjusted to 5.8 exactly, for the first couple feedings i would water the 2 coco plants first then adjust the ph up to 6.2 to water the MG plant, (also just for the record i did a nice flush/flower nute presoak on the MG plant before switching it to flower to help clear out some of that time released N) after those first few feedings though i got a little lazy and would just use the same 5.8 adjusted water for the MG plant as well, and remarkably i havent seen any problems with it, this plant is just the happiest, healthiest plant i think i've ever grown.. About 3-4 more weeks until i cut them down and can compare trichs/flavour/potency.

So now that you know all that lets talk about what i want to try for my next run! I'll try to keep it short since i've already written a novel above. Simply put i want to try mixing the MG-MC with the coco/perlite. My appx ratio for this would be something like 50%coco 30%MG 20% perlite. I was able to find a few threads on various sites where people tried similar combinations of mediums but there was very little info on their results or anything else really.. was basically just threads similar to this one of people saying they were gonna try it, then countless people telling those people theyre stupid, and then no followup. My questions are has anyone here ever tried this? would you suggest any particular ratio? Would you suggest using a hydro PH level or Soil PH level when combining these mediums? did you like your results during the grow? and did you like the finished product?

Thanks in advance for anyone who leaves constructive input, and anyone who decides to hate on this thread i hope your wasted time and effort is worth it. Happy growing all!
