New med patient, White widow, chocolope kush, chesile grow

My wife recently got her medical card due to being diagnosed with fibromyalga. She has tried everything and I was sick of seeing her on pills which I have no idea what's in it..being a steady cannabis user up to 3 years ago, became a lineman and get tested every 3 months...which sucks!!! I decided to take it upon myself to help her self medicate. I'm going to document this entire grow and would love and input or advice. Thank you to all

All seeds were put into germ 3 days ago and 6 out of 6 have sprouted! The setup you see is temp just to get seeds started and full dual tent set up will be up with in the week. Have spared no expense on this set up and can wait to show it in operation...

Nice strains you got there. What's your lighting setup? If you're using CFL/Fluorescent, keep it very close to your plants. Like 2" away. Otherwise they'll stretch like hell!

I have them under a 600 watt sun system block buster with a digilux mh bulb, 600 watt galaxy grow amp and 6" in line fan to keep things cool. about 2 feet from them right now. Should they be closer? Just put them in fox farm ocean forrest today. Veg tent is a 48" by 48". Got another block buster with a 1000 watt galaxy grow amp with hps eye hortilux bulb for my flower tent(76" by 76") think the tent and light is big enough for 6 plants in flower?. Another high power 6" inline for that with a scrubber..I'm allowed 6 in flower and 99 in veg..gonna flower out these six and take clones before to get the phenos I'm looking for.

yes, put them about 8 inches away... my light meter from hydrofarm is a POS but even with that you will see just how quickly your lumens drop for every inch away from your plants. also a lot of problems with ffof its important to fix the runoff pH. also i love running 2 600s for my 3 plants in my 4 by 4 tent. just autos too. in late flower i use one hps and one mh. I would run three lamps and focus on air circulation iiwy

Moved them to about a foot away, my plan is to only use ffof while their in solo cups then switch over to pro mix once I transplant, on the air circulation I've got 2 high powered in line fans ( one for each light)to remove heat which will be vented to the outside. 2 6 inch low power inline fans for intakes with hepa air filters to clean the air coming in(one for each tent)Also 2 clip on fans for each tent for air movement inside the tents..also I've already bought the 1000 watt setup so I'm gonna be using that. I debated on 1 1000 or 2 600 for a while decided on the 1000 after reading many threads on the subject..thanks for the input much appreciated!

Ample fans, I like more intake than outtake though. I intake from an adjacent room and exhaust right next to my tent. and go with a dual spectrum bulb or two 600s so you can play with the spectrum a little

I'll look into the dual spectrum, or maybe add another 1000 down the line...

Just remember that your room is most likely only on a 15 or 20 amp breaker and that 2 1000w lights over 110/120v will run 15 amps at least. You want 20% under the breaker max for constant on appliances so 2 1000s might be unrealistic for you.

I've got two separate outlets each on its own 20 amp breaker in my area right now so I might be okay, what do you think? I thought about maybe installing a decitated 240v in that room if I run into power issues..

You'll be fine. My garage has a subpanal with 60 Amps service coming from my house. Which only has 100 total... WOMP. Oh well good thing I dont anticipate to use THAT much lol. I'll have to make sure I dont run the lights and the vacuum and all the a/c at the same time. Getting a 240v outlet put in a finished area is pricey too.

Yeah I'm gonna try to avoid the 240v route if possible, my cousin is a electriction so I could probably get him to do it for cheap if need be, my area is in my basement which is all insulated and and ready to be finished but no drywall up yet so it might not be to bad running new wire..good to know you think I'll be okay though with what's there now...can't wait to set everything up this weekend!!

Yeah run your wire now. If you're going to install one 240 you might as well do a few. I have a badass timer that controls 12 240v outlets. that shit was $$$ but that's what you should get one yourself. i dont know the brand off the top of my head. and drywall with 5/8" board. its a bitch to get put up but its water resistant and fire resistant. My ceiling is a tad above 8 feet so there is a gap about four inches at the bottom below the two 4x8 boards. Theres drywall filling in the crack but if there is a big flood that's easier to replace than a whole board.

Just got home and I swear these grew about 2 inches in 24 hours...brought the light to about 8 inches away..added a fan blowing right on them and the light to help with the heat..holding around 78..they seem to be loving the ffof so far, no signs of nuet burn at all. Can't wait to have them in my "real" setup by sunday

No, the electrician who installed this timer told me that Titan controllers don't comply to code and are overall NOT good.

Yup and if excites you just wait until they start to flower!

Here is a video showing the last 6 days of growth. Its a little shaky I know but if you watch carefully you can watch the plants really POP! when I replaced an HPS with a MH.

These are 70 day autos i changed them 65 days in if that helps

also i switched them to hps about 10 day after I noticed preflowers
