New luxury canna-gar project

:bigjoint:Just thought i'd share with you guys my making of a "basic" no fuss grade A cannabis Cigar.

Making a cannabis cigar only the BEST ingredients will suffice. They can be more or less exotic, mixing oils, weeds and bubblehash of diff strains.

And thats just what this guy is gonna be like! bongsmilie

I grew and processed every ingredient myself with love and with quality rather than quantity in mind.

First step ofcourse if the Thai stick. Although quite similar to the original thai stick, not exactly as this stick is made of fluffyer buds and not tied as hard. I find otherwise you tend to get a "harsh" tasting cigar.

The cigar is going to be Robusto inspired (6inch) but with a ring sice around 60 obviously to compensate for the diameter of the stick.

This cigar, when finished should have smoke for around 30-40 minutes burn/toke time.

It will have taken a month to create/cure and 10-15hours of labour to make it and product worth atleast 1500$ will be going into it. Thats why usually this type of luxury is exclusive to the grower only

For the stick base i've chosen one of my favorite medical indica strains, the Wonder woman of Nirvana seeds.

Your going way overboard, but should be pretty sweet. Now I can't roll worth a shit, but I've bought Cohibas and had a friend unroll and reroll them ,full size, with bud, looked just like it did before it was cracked. I've bought leaf tobacco and had them roll, nonne of my friends like rolling with leaf though. The largest one we ever did held about 3/4oz of high grade and smoked for hours, over multiple sessions. A $500-$700 "cigar" i could see, not $1500. In high school we used to hollow out phillies and repack them, like 1/4-1/2oz per.
I used to smoke alot of cigars, 1-2/day....not phillies but cohiba, gurkhas, etc, decent cigars. The place I bought them at did rolling parties, where they would come and roll cigars for your party. I asked about if I supplied a filler would they still roll em..yup..lol.

Sounds pretty sweet ;)
I know i am going overboard but thats the general idea with this one. No expenses spared! Besides, the price mentioned is loosely based on market prices in my country of origin so it might not tell the full story.

The leaves i will be using for this are pre-cured and will be coated in Sativa Oil (to compensate the couch lock of the indica stick)
And a Bubble Hash of Snowhite will be sprinkled between layers.

Sounds tasty. Also sounds like it could be a pretty cool niche market to tailor to. Are you rolling in tobacco or in marijuana leaf? Some of those big sativa leaves aren't bad, could use it as a outter wrapping.

  • Thats exactly the leaves i will be using (of the same Sativa i used buds from when making my oil.)

Starting off with smaller leaves wrapping the whole thing, then giving it another golden coat just to wrap it up in the bigger fan leaves :)

The leaves themselves when cured correctly and not just let wither, actually has each their own taste contribution. But mainly they are there obviously to provide structrure and coating if not a basis on wich to put another layer og goodies ;) so obviously i will use nomore leaves than necessery.
Its actually quite simple to do, and you can then remoisten the leaves when you are going to use them.

Hehe about the niche market... I suppose if your cigars got a rumor in the right circles (the ones where price doesnt matter - exclusive stuff does) ya you could make a business of it ;)

But the cigars would have to be VERY expensive for me to even consider making them for profit but ye i guess some people would pay that hehe.

I used to grow my own tobacco and I would say the best is to take a mature leaf and roll up your favorite herb in it. I would take hemp rope and wrap the whole thing as the leaf dried and shrank. Cure it up then unwrap and you have a nice herb cigar.

Small update. Below a pick of the thai stick as it looks now. I will place it in a humidor with a small slice of apple to further cure the stick and infuse taste while pending production of BHO oils.

Now like i mentioned, every product for this cigar is of pristine quality, the BHO noless.

The bubble hash will provide all the hashy taste this thing needs, otherwise i want this to be an explotion for the sensatory organs so:

The oil will be made from just picked buds. This will provide the maximum amount of floral taste as well as some other beneficials. It allows me as well to almost completely avoiding water solubles while extracting the bho by freezing the water containing them, the butane wont penetrate the ice crystals.

It will be exposed to a short period of intense uv bombardment while boiling. Just enough to break down the little bit of chlrophyl that will be in there, not enough to start breakdown of cannabinoids - don't worry the fumes will be sucked away so the lamp won't cause accidents ;)

Fortunately, where i am from i can get grade A butane quite cheap. It has to do with our product requirements.
But other than that due to laws and legislations other solvents can be hard to get my hands on. I am currently looking for a trusted source of Ethanol for Winterization to remove remaining Waxes for a pristine Absolute.

Next update won't b f
