New LED Technology

So there was a side by side comparison in High Times I heard about, and took a look. They used the 90W UFO LED light and got the same results as a 400W HPS and 1/4 less than a 600W HPS light. So I've been looking into it. I stumbled across these lights on a search. The LGM5 Pro-5 LED Grow Light, it can be looked at here led-grow-masters. They basically took proven LED technology and put it in a cooled good configuration. There are pictures on the site of a greenhouse set up they were used in. They are 5 or 6 feet away from the lettuce plants and spaced 5 or 6 feet apart. They are much cheeper than other LED lights I have seen. What do you guys think?

Hi check out my pics :) I bought 2 90 watt LED UFO's @630nm and added an Envirolite, well 2 but one blue for veg and one red for flower, the set up is genius it really works well, i have more pics to add but my pc is being gay and wont let me upload any more pics at the mo, i just put my ladies into flower and the main stems are over an inch in circumference, and both plants are only just hitting 20 inches tall the internodes are really close so I am pro LED, but they have to be accompanied by a 150w Envirolite min, I have a 250w Envirolite for the later part of flowering ill explain more later but check out my pics add comments and tell me what you think ~ Stelthy :)

That's awesome that you have success, I know that soon enough I will be 100% LED. If UFOs work than these growmaster lights are an improvement. I'm more of a commercial grower so, they make more sense. I am imagining 8 of these over each of my 60 plant tables.

The Envirolite is getting shut down everywhere I read about it, what are your experiences?
